Small room, shower was so small I would not fit.. Best attribute is its closeness to the train station.. Quick trip to FCO airport from Traverstie station.. What can I say, Rome is Awesome, this is a decent hotel at an affordable price.. To stay a week, I would choose somewhere else, Just a night or two, it will do..

If you arrive at Rome Fiumicino Airport buy a metro ticket to Trastervere Station and you are about 350 metres from the hotel. Simple. A warm welcome with friendly and helpful staff. My room was clean but unfortunately overlooked the main road. A little noisy at times. Excellent breakfast included in the room cost.

Guests considering staying at this hotel should be advised that it is not a standard tourist hotel, but rather one that caters largely to large groups of students and pilgrims. The accommodation is modest and the staff unsophisticated.

This sweet hotel is conveniently located near the tram and train station making sightseeing in Rome so easy. The breakfast was really good and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

I recently stayed here - the rooms were comfortable and clean; the staff very friendly and helpful. I liked being out of the centre of town as there is a tram service nearby and lovely walks into the city centre walking across the Tiber with gorgeous views. In relation to the two previous 'negative' reviews: Although a bit of a...

Pros: -not too far from the train station and very close to a tram stop. -we paid less than $60 total for our stay. -clean -quiet - the concierge was the very best part! Very friendly and cheerful, even when we checked in after 11p.m., was extremely helpful with sight seeing, and his English sounded like music "Welcome to Hotel...

It's a very nice hotel. Great location clean and has a wonderful view. The rooms are good and spacious. I had a room with a big terrace so I was able to enjoy my breakfast every morning which they delivery it. The staff was very nice, and helpful.

Staying in Monteverde

Neighbourhood Profile
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighbourhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centrepiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the centre to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
