This hotel was the most basic hotel I have ever stayed in. There was no tea facilities, the breakfast was ham, croissants I cereal and bread. No toaster for toast. The television was only in Italian and broke they had to fix it. The microwave was dirty inside and we had to ask the boy to clean it. There was...

The Arcadia is not the Ritz!! Having said that, Vivien & I found this the ideal ‘launch pad’ for exploring everything that Rome has to offer – and that’s a lot! The hotel rooms are basic but clean & functional. You will not find a kettle because of strict Italian Health & Safety rules. – This applies to most hotels....

Almost an hour away by bus & Metro, and the bus comes only once every 40-60 minutes… The breakfast is nothing worth waiting for, and the place itself is dull. The only good thing is the excellent Pizza across the street. not recommended at all.

This hotel sounded great when I made the booking but when we arrived it was a different story. It's dull and in bad need of an overhaul. There are walls filled in and not re painted. The bathroom was filthy and the toilet wouldn't flush on the first night. The breakfast was terrible. Pre packaged toast. Cold stale croissants with...

Rome is the most beautiful and amazing city I've ever visited, it's so full of history and amazing views, culture, museums, sculptures, buildings & nature! However sadly the same can't be said for the hotel! Here are some major negatives; 1) Outside looks HORRIBLE 2) Inside is SO basic & old & horrible, ZERO COMFORT 3) Hotel is so far...

We stayed two nights. If you like having a Woolly Blanket as your comforter, this is your hotel. If you like having a fridge in your room, this is your hotel. There's a grocery store steps away which was great. If you want a room with a view, this is your hotel. Wifi is 4 euros for 24 hrs which...

Think of the Hotel Arcadia as a three-star film. You've got a decent cast behind the desk, a predictable storyline for breakfast, some very nice cameos from the cleaners, standard cinematography of the surrounding area, great moments with the free shuttle service on Sundays but ultimately not really addressing the main theme of Rome. All in all, it's a cheap...

Stayed just for one day and I cant say the room is super or location is good. However staffs are very kind and helpful. Near hotel there is a big supermarket so you can buy stuffs over there. And dont miss the chance to enjoy a lovely pizza restaurant around here.

So having read the reviews for this hotel AFTER booking it, I was devastated & nervous, I booked the weekend trip to Rome for my little sisters 21st birthday present. We had a limited budget so couldn't afford to stay in the centre of Rome. HOWEVER arriving at Ciampino airport we followed the instructions on the hotels website & were...
