Room was clean and big enough. Location perfect - just by Termini. But breakfast was awfull. In dirty kitchen, only toast bread, jam, nutella and musli. Dirty tables, floors. Really it wasn't acceptable.

We stayed a whole week in this hostel in a twin room with shared bathroom. Slightly expensive for what you get since there's a bunk bed in the room, which is quite unstable too. However, the staff was very helpful. And there was free breakfast. The location is great too, just 25 mins walking from the Colisseum! The shower pressure... More

The Hostel itself was decent and accomadating even though the AC gave some trouble and we had to get assistance from the front desk. With that fixed all went well until we departed. An item was left behind and all attempts to email contact them was not responded to even though its almost been a week. A Response has so... More

Slept in a 4 bed dorm that was fairly comfortable, but the AC was broken meaning that there was a constant dripping throughout the night, Despite me telling the staff that it was broken and that we could not sleep in the room, nothing was done. The dripping was so bad that I ended up having to leave the Hostel... More

I had a great time staying here; my room was ready early, everything was clean and comfortable, and the lockers are huge and even have hangers. The water in the shower was hot and a good pressure. The free breakfast was great to have before heading out for the day and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They also... More

I stayed at the Legends hostel last week with a group of 13 other students, and the hostel was absolutely perfect for us. I had a private room so can't review the shared rooms, but from what I saw they were of a really good standard! The hostel isn't too hard to find (you have to press a button to... More

We stayed 4 nights in rome in the mixed room. It is a little hard to find but once there it's a great location as only 5 minute walk from the train station. the rooms were generally clean. There was free breakfast in the morning and the free wine in the evening was a nice touch!

Thought that the eating room is bigger than that.. Free breakfast every morning.. Anyway, there is a lockout period from 10am to 3pm and you have to get out from your room during that time.. It's not that easy to find, keep your eyes open, it's on the second floor above that bar something.. Room is good, toilet is good,... More

It's cosy, clean, perfectly located hostel for a short visit. We stayed for 2 nights there and payed a reasonable price in comparison with other places. Helpful staff, well maintained rooms, fast wi-fi. Definitely recommendable!

Hostel is well located (especially if getting the shuttle bus from either airport), situated a five minute walk from Rome's central transport hub. The hostel itself, despite being difficult to find is spacious with a large kitchen, dining area and balcony and the rooms are comfortable and clean. For these reasons I would certainly recommend this hostel! The staff also... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
