Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have just got back from a week here and really enjoyed it. It’s easy enough to get into central Rome (a 20 min bus ride then metro). We stayed in a ‘premium’ holiday home and it was perfectly fine, although basic for premium. Be prepared to have no kettle or toaster or oven! The site was clean and pleasant. Many facilities weren’t open - the pool didn’t open till the end of the the week and there was no entertainment or sports/fitness activities. This was a bit of a shame but we did pay a low price which I think reflected this. So the park will be a bit livelier as the season picks up. The children still enjoyed the playground and riding round on go karts. The on site bar and restaurant is fine, and we did eat there, but would recommend eating in Rome for slightly better quality food. But that’s not surprising.

My family and I (7 of us) went to camp fabulous for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. From the pool to trips to Rome it was by far our favourite family holiday yet after always going to 5 star campsites Camp Fabulous still comes out on top for us. The pool is huge, great atmosphere with music and entertainment, great pool bar and lots of sun loungers for everyone. There was entertainment every evening, great for younger kids, lots of sports grounds etc. for older kids. There’s an ice cream parlour, a shop, a restaurant, a takeaway and more all very good services, we didn’t completely enjoy the food in the restaurant but that’s not a big issue with the takeaway on sight, also barbecues at the mobile home and only a bus + metro journey away from the centre of Rome with plenty of places to eat! Staff on sight were very helpful and accommodating. Would really highly recommend this campsite not a bad word to say about it, if you are considering visiting it I would definitely recommend going!

The place can be so much better but they obviously don’t care about what they’re doing. I went with my wife and son to spend some time and they put us in front of a soccer team that would make noise at all hours of the night. The first night they all yelled collectively at 12:30 am the next night they did it again 1 am but on top of the yelling and loud music they would run around the area stomping on all the cabins steps. We told the office about it and they did let us sleep in until 1 pm but that shouldn’t be the case. Families and young crowds should be separated. I doubt we’ll return because I don’t want to test our luck. Also this isn’t the first time because after the incident I looked at the reviews and it seems to have happened before to numerous people.

Since it is a HUGE development, there's a chance you may be far away from things.I actually got a place that would be fit for a family, but it was available for a good price and I had no idea what it was. Staff very accommodating in front of house, and a fabulous member of the wait staff DIEGO PADULA, more than made up for the few "attitude" scenarios at the on site piazza spagna restaurant, He was top-shelf, and obviously the shining star of the place. Food good, priced right, and atmosphere got better as things progressed. Rooms clean and efficient, great for a quiet nights sleep on the outskirts of the "big city"

The park itself is nice, Eurocamp were pretty dreadful. Good points: the park is beautiful, lovely location amongst the trees. The shallow pool is great for kids - water is only around knee height, great for younger kids but older kids enjoyed as well. We didn’t really go in the larger pool and the 3rd pool was closed as late in the season. Can travel into Rome in under an hour. Poolside bar food was very good. Bad points: Eurocamp accommodation is dire and they don’t seem to care. Hu accommodation looks much better. The road outside the camp is treacherous. I did read this before we went but was still shocked and how bad it was. There is no pavement, you are literally walking at the side of the road whilst cars whizz past you. Also so much litter. If you don’t have a car, public transport isn’t much fun (lots of pushing and shoving) but driving looks so stressful. So travelling anywhere is a bit of a stress, but there is nothing within walking distance. As it was end of season, everything was closed apart from the pool. I expected some stuff to be closed but was expecting there to be still be tennis pitches that could be used. Nope, this all looked abandoned and there was no net. Most of the staff were either unhelpful / uninterested or downright rude. A few were good, but the majority were disappointing.

We stayed here for 6 nights at October half term. We booked with Eurocamp. The park is lovely, set around big trees. They had a good shop, takeaway and restaurant. At this time of the year there aren't many activities open but the pool was - however Eurocamp advertised it would be closed on their site! We didn't get to enjoy as we didn't bring our swimming things as told it would be closed. Overall the park has a nice feel. Our Eurocamp caravan felt very outdated compared to the HU ones on site. There were a few maintenance issues and felt a bit unloved. If I went back I would look to book a HU maintained caravan instead. Great distance to get to Rome. Public transport is available but was always so busy, even in October. We did just drive in and park up one day to make it easier. Several supermarkets nearby, closest was PIM but in the car, we went to Lidl and Elite and all had what we needed.

Not a campsite a top quality self catering resort in beautiful grounds on outskirts of Rome. High quality bungalow accommodation in a well managed resort which despite its size is still relaxing and calming after the intensity of the city centre. Fantastic pools and sports facitlies for the active and shady verandas and wool and for relaxers. Camp restaurant provided some of the best food and value we had in 8 days of travelling around Rome with excellent service from staff especially Diego. Outside of rush hour 20 minutes by bus to Rome metro and then 20 minutes to Coliseum and 20 minutes the other way by bus to the beaches at Ostia. 20 minutes by taxi or shuttle to either Airport. Just Perfect!
