Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

This hotel was a good stay at it's price point. The bathroom is small and may not be the best fit for everyone. If you have any concerns about the bathrooms size, feel free to look at the pictures on our blog at randrwander, they might give you an idea of what to expect. I do

The location is about 2 blocks from Termini and only a short walk to the subway station which goes to majority of the site seeing places. Upon check-in we were greeted by a very helpful English speaking lady and our room was average in size but very clean. Perhaps the best part

Stayed here when visiting Rome on a business study trip with our small company of 15 people. Nice, clean and welcoming hotel. Good location for travelling by train, bus or metro. Rooms are ideal for what you need and beds are comfortable. Whilst it doesn't have much in the way

Dear Guest, We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback on your recent stay with us.I am pleased to know that you found the hotel to be well located for your visit to Rome. I am sorry that the size of the reception area did not meet your expectations but as you experienced there is another small lounge on second floor in addition to our breakfast hall. Customer care is very important to us and our daily mission is to make sure that our guests have a memorable stay while feeling welcome and comfortable at all times. I am glad that you felt welcomed and catered to during your stay. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future Warm regards, Jino Joy

Yes, it is close to Termini station, but if you want to be walking to city centre etc., then stay on the other side of the station!!! From the ratings and reviews on here, we truly expected something much nicer than this. The front desk staff run from friendly to aggressive.

Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your views .I was most disheartened to read your comments with regards to your personal experience. We pride ourselves on always going to extensive lengths to ensure all guests have a positive and memorable experience, as customer care is amongst our highest priorities. We are regularly commended on our friendly, hospitable service, coupled with our extreme attention to detail ensuring all guests remain comfortable and feel safe whilst staying with us. It is true that there was a problem with the hairdryer and immediately we replaced it. I was most surprised to read your comments with regards breakfast and I beg to differ .We provide buffet continental breakfast which includes fruit juices 3 kinds of bread, butter, corn flakes, sweet pastries, coffe, milk, cappucino etc.We do not have contract to get old pastries. Every morning around 4.30 a.m our pastry supplier 'Dolcemaniera' brings fresh crossiants to us and you are free to verify it by contacting them. I do apologise for the noise from the street but if you informed that you are light sleeperwe would have solve it immediately by changing the room facing to the inner courtyard...I wish we had been made aware of this because most likely we would have been able to fix the issue. It is too sad that you did not find 2 English Tv channels. We take all feedback seriously, and would like to thank you for your constructive criticism. We are sadden on this occasion we did not give you the opportunity to discover our warm atmosphere and service. We really would very much welcome the opportunity to regain your confidence in our services. Regards, Jino Joy
