The breakfast was bad or should I say non existent. The only decent thing was the distance from the termini station. The person at the reception in the evening was mighty rude but to be fair the one in the morning made up for him by being helpful. Internet is only in the common area not so in the rooms....

This is a nice hotel that is close to the train station, subway stops, grocery store and restaurants. The tourist attractions are just a few subway stops away. Since we were traveling Europe by train we wanted a hotel that is close to the train station to minimize our walk while pulling suitcases. The rooms here were nice sized and...

Went there for a week-end with a friend. The hotel is really well located, near the Termini train and bus Station, and 5 mns walk from Piazza della Reppublica. The staff was really nice and helpful, the rooms carefully cleaned. And an important point for an hotel in Rome, the rooms have AC! The breakfast was OK but copious. Great...

Stayed here for 4 nights, the receptionists are all really warm friendly people who were happy to give us advice and even printed us our Rome tickets out. The rooms were really nice, carefully cleaned and tidied everyday the breakfast was brilliant with delicious pastries and this hotel is right next door to a tube stop. Fantastic!

This hotel is well located , near Termini station . The receptionists were very helpful and pleasant .It was clean . Nevertheless, it was a bit noisy . We slept with the windows opened as we didn't bear the air conditioning during the night .The breakfast was copious although basic . To be recommanded !

Well priced tourist hotel close to Roma Terminii station, so very convenient for accessing other cities and the metro. Brekfast was OK, but not as good as other hotels we stayed at Italy. Wifi only available in lobby on first floor, and not it our room on fourth floor. Lift does not serve all floors (have to walk up a...

Hotel Dolomiti is in a very good location if you are travelling around Rome and plan to use the Metro. The station is about 50m away and Termini station (a central station), is a 10m walk. The hotel staff spoke enough English to easily communicate. The bedroom was simple and sweet but like anywhere in Europe, limited on space. A...

Had a nice stay with my husband. The breakfast was okay - no toast, typical continental. The bed wasn't very good in room 405. Mattress needs replacing. The staff are there 24/7 and the location is great. Go to restaurant Rossi near by. Laundromat that does washing in 1.5 hrs is very close.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
