We booked the Inn not knowing what to expect, but the everything about it was simply pefect.
Location: Tucked away in a small but typically Roman side street, its hard to tell from outside that such a luxurious hotel exists behind simple but rustic Italian exterior. Jus a tiny gold plaque on the door anounces you have arrived. Just around the corner is the Roman Forum, and the Colliseum is not much over a 5 minute walk. The Trevi fountain is maybe a 15 min walk, with the Spanish steps and upmarket shopping not much further. Simply put we could not have asked for a better location.
Rooms: All individually decorated with high quality but rustic and eclectic styles. We stayed in 301, which is a very large room with a metal framed 4 poster bed, a large settee, and adjoined by a well equipped bathroom. Spa bath and a walk-in shower!
Oh yes, Full Sky Tv package but you are in Rome so maybe no time to sit and watch.
Breakfast: This is served in the top floor lounge by two of the most attentive, friendly, and informative people I have ever met in a hotel. Valentina and Barbara are just the best.
Restaurants: The hotel is a small, luxurious boutique hotel and therefore does not have its own restaurant, but as you are in Rome good food is never far away. Don't get caught at some of the nearby tourist restaurants but you must go just around the corner and have dinner at Taverni dei Fori Imperiali on Via Deli Madonna Dei Monti. Remember to make a reservation, but they do have toom for some walk-ins. Please explore the full length of this street as it has lots of small restaurants and bars that the real Romans frequent. Also go to Trattoria Al Tettarello to experience a proper ol Italian restaurant.
Experience: A luxury boutique hotel in the heart of the city, it even has its own ruins to sample as you check in. 5 star eclectic.

This small and comfortable hotel is in a great central location, yet very quiet and peaceful. The nearby Monti area is a great place to eat and “feel the buzz”. What makes this place really special is the staff. They are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. This is our second stay and it was great to catch up with them all again,

After months of research I chose the inn at the Roman forum as our hotel for our anniversary trip. The reviews I had read were nothing but great and guess what, here is one more. The inn had a private car available for airport pick up(and drop off) which we took advantage of. Upon checking in we were brought to a waiting room like no other waiting room I had ever been, It was set in a catacomb/old Rome setting and we were served tiramisu while we waited. The room was perfect it was a deluxe room, so I could only imagine what the other style rooms looked like. We had breakfast every morning there, not cause it was “free” but because it was amazing, it was set up on the 4th floor where you could be inside their elegant sitting room(s) or outside on the rooftop overlooking the city. We also took advantage of their happy hour having a cocktail before heading out to the city, again taking advantage of viewing Rome at night from the rooftop. A night before our anniversary We had a conversation about what more to see and were to eat for our 24th with one of the employees (Proloy). He made great suggestions on how to spend our last day and set up a “simple but sweet” area on the rooftop for us to have a cocktail before heading out to our anniversary dinner (which they arranged). Everyone in the staff was amazing from housekeeping to concierge, they went out of their way from start to finish to make our stay amazing. I would highly recommend this inn for anyone staying in Rome. The location is perfect for sight seeing, shopping and of course eating. Thanks again everyone and Till next time Rome, ciao!

This hotel by far has the best location. It's literally a 5 minute walk to the roman forum, 7 minute walk to the colosseum, 10-15 minute walk to pantheon, around 15-20 minute walk from trevi fountain and 25 minute walk to the spanish steps. This hotel is perfect for people who like to stroll & aren't interested in going to the crowded Vatican (which is at the other side of the city).
We never took a taxi anywhere! If you're visiting summer time just a heads up... it is freaking hot!!!! Always carry a water bottle around.

The rooms were comfortable enough.
We got upgraded to a room with a tiny stove. Their bath products were pretty decent and the water pressure was great.

When we got there, they gave us a complimentary tiramisu and cappuccino which was adorable. This hotel has it's own mini ruins behind the lobby and that's where they tell you to hangout while they check you in.

Check in was pretty slow but we got there fairly early and our room wasnt ready.

There is a fountain right outside the hotel to refill your water bottles ( dont worry, safe to drink!) . We literally never had to buy water while we were in rome.

Their complimentary breakfast and happy hour in their terrace was actually really good. Who doesn't like prosciutto?!?

Overall it was a good hotel however the pictures on their website do not reflect what your room is going to look like.

We had a cruise cancelled in March 2020 so we had to cancel a reservation. I had booked non-refundable and they didn't refund, but they did let me use that night almost a year and a half later. We added four more nights and can't say enough about the room and location. We had five adults and two children. The two bedrooms, two baths, large living room area and kitchen were spacious for us. The living room had two sofas that made comfortable beds and one roll away. There was a washing machine, full kitchen and foyer area. The main hotel was not open yet, but they opened this room for us. The hotel sent a van for us, checked us in at the main hotel across the street and provided fresh breakfast every day. They also sent someone to service the room just for us each day even though the hotel that was open at the Spanish Steps is a good distance.

Location, location, location.....this place is great. Easy walk to Coloseum, Forum, Metro stops and many great restaurants for reasonable prices. One of our favorites tucked in an alley was Elle Carrette, which is right next to Flor our favorite gelato in the area and we tried several before repeat visits to Flor.

Can't say enough about how great this place was for our family.

From the moment we entered the hotel and being greeted with Prosecco and Tiramisu and the friendliest staff, we knew it was going to be a good trip. This is an amazing hotel, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The ladies at breakfast were excellent with every need catered for even baking special treats each day for the guests. The apple cake was to die for! After returning from a long day of walking around the wonderful sites of Rome, we were delighted to be presented with a bottle of Prosecco in our room. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, the added bonus of a jacuzzi bath was so welcomed! It’s perfectly situated to be able to get to all the tourist spots. If I ever return to Rome I will definitely be coming back to this hotel, I cannot rate it enough. Thank you for making our trip so wonderful !

A great hotel in a great city. The location was perfectly located. With just a 20 minute walk or 20 minute ride away from Roma Termini, it was easy to get to from the train station. The hotel is also easily walkable to many of the tourist attractions, including a quick 5 minute walk to the Roman Forum or a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum. Can't beat that! Breakfast was also good and we had great service. Shout out to Barbara! The front desk and the staff were also very helpful and always asked how our room was. As for the room, well it couldn't have been any better. The beds were comfortable and roomy. Couldn't have asked for more.

I think this may be the nicest stay we've ever had. The location is great - you are right near the Colosseum and other major attractions yet the hotel itself is a bit set back so you don't feel like you are in a tourist zone. The staff here are remarkably friendly. Upon arrival, we got to tour their own ruins and had prosecco and tiramisu. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a beautiful room with its own private garden. The room was huge and had everything you'd want. The breakfast was the best we've seen in Italy with several homemade quiches and cakes. You also have an extended time frame to eat breakfast which is great if you want a late start. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The location of this hotel is superb as it is within easy walking distance of the Forum, Colesseum etc.

Staff were very attentive and really went out of their way to ensure we were having a nice stay.

Our room was beautifully furnished with a huge stone fireplace and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless with a powerful rainfall shower and complementary toiletries. Bathrobes and slippers were also provided.

Breakfast was a delight - freshly cooked to order by efficient and personable staff. You could eat inside or on the terrace which has amazing views.

The hotel has copious amounts of marble which is beautiful to look at but bounces sound around so guests who are returning to the hotel in the late evening can cause an unwitting disruption - bring ear plugs as a precaution if you are a light sleeper.

Would jump at the chance to stay here again if we returned to Rome.

We stayed 3 nights at end of February 2020, wonderful hotel, not your normal type but a great character style right next to The Roman Forum. We stayed in the building on the opposite side and what a great place for couples travelling together, rooms 206 and 207, huge lounge with full kitchen plus outside terrace all full of character. All the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive, the main building is over 4 floors with a small lift or 75 steps to the roof terrace and bar / breakfast area, a great central location for all Rome has to offer, a wonderful place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, were looked after very well, found the Studio adequate for our needs, the style is unusual fits in beautifully with the age of Rome. I have been a few times to Rome. If traveling as a couple or family use the Hotels Airport transfer service. Book your passes in advance for the Forum, Colosseum. The Pantheon has a different system a day or two before. The Vatican the best is a private tour although expensive around 400 euro the experience is excellent can be booked through the hotel. St Peters Basilica a must do is the climb and view from the very top about 500 steps if you use the lift about 300. The tomb of the Unknown Soldier or Altar to the Fatherland excellent view from the top, lift on same level as café, need to purchase tickets at the time also includes the Museum. best way to see Rome is walking, City tour Buses we found a waste of time. We used various restaurant's there is a group close by to the left of the hotel in Via Cavour we found OK. hope this helps, have a great time, get those legs ready and good walking shoes. Cheers Gordon and Radka
