This is definitely a long overdue review of the Opera Hotel. We stayed last Feb 2007. This hotel was recommended to us and was definitely a wonderful hotel in an excellent location. We decided to walk, with luggage, from the train station and only took approximately 10 minutes, not too bad! The hotel was very modern/contemporary, with all the amenties,...

We stayed at the Opera Hotel from 09/21/2007 to 09/26/2007. First the good stuff...The room was beautiful and very roomy by European Standards. It was well appointed with modern decor. The pillows and bed are some of the most comfortable I have ever felt in all my hotel stays. The maid and service staff was fantastic. Now the bad...Our big...

I (female) spent one night at the Opera Hotel in Rom, via Nazionale, and it was really nice. Unfortunately the hotel has only rooms towards the street which is very noisy, but his location is great. If you have heavy luggage you need to climb some steps until you reach the reception, not really nice if you are travelling without...

This hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to a ton of historical sites. The rooms are very modern and clean and the bathrooms are a far size. There is now an elevator however it is easier to use the stairs. The staff is friendly and helpful. One tip...if you are walking to the location from the...

Great location - easy walking distance to the sights of Rome; less than 1km away from the central train station; and 5min from the closest metro station. A modern hotel, with tasteful decor, clean and tidy rooms, and friendy staff. Breakfast is either served in your room or on the terrace, and although basic is enough to start the day....

We could not have been treated nicer or better. After arriving in Rome, our luggage was missing. The nice ladies at the front desk (most notably Alessandria) were most helpfull. They called the airline many times and even submitted our clothing bill after we had to buy clothes. When the luggage finally showed up, it was in our room. The...

This was an excellent base for a romantic getaway in Rome. The price was very reasonable, decor tasteful and modern and very clean. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from metro station and 20 minute walk from most major attractions. The staff were friendly and very helpful - on checking in the receptionist showed us on a map where all...

Contemporary styling. A flight of stairs at entrance (no elevator). Mostly pleasant and helpful staff at reception. Problem: at night the entrance is locked and guests must be buzzed in. My first night in Rome, I went out for a drink and returned to be left out in the cold and rain for half an hour b/c the doorman was...

Having not had a holiday this year was really looking forward to a relaxing 4 days in Rome... Oh how wrong can one be! The Opera Hotel is on Via National, one of the main roads in Rome, having said this we couldn't have asked for anything better. The hotel is small, has very friendly staff, is extremely clean and...
