We stayed in Hotel Cherubini for 2 nights and we had a great time. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Termini station, the rooms were very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The most important thing is that the staff was very very polite and helpful. I would definetely recommend this hotel. Total value for money.

We stayed for 4 nights. It's a simple no frills hotel. Room was clean, breakfast was simple but just enough to start off your day. It's a 2 minute walk from termini station with metro and buses all a short distance away.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. The staff was so friendly. We had our wifi delivered to the hotel before we even arrived. There's only one staff on duty every day so you have to return your room key whenever you leave the hotel. The wifi was working properly but there's no wifi signal inside the breakfast room.... Ok first the pros: This hotel is two blocks away from Termini train station It's inexpensive Offers complementary breakfast Bathroom is ok, water pressure and temperature are adequate. Now the cons: You can hear the person in the next room breathing...everything that goes on in this hotel you can hear. SUPER noisy. Do not expect a good night sleep. The... More

As some people said before, it's easy to miss the hotel as it's not very well sign-posted on the street. Walking up the stairs leading to the hotel, we felt apprehensive about safety, especially at night (also after having seen some of the people hanging around outside). However, having said that we didn't have any issues with safety during our... More

We spent 5 days at this hotel. Hotel has great location - no more than 5 minutes to bus/train station, around 20 minutes to Colosseum. Staff is very nice and helpful. We were allowed to leave our luggages for few hours after check out. Tasty breakfasts. Unfortunately we could hear all noises (from corridor and street) I would suggest to... More

Bathroom are so small, besides room also. The main problem was noise. In room you will hear all wats happening in corridor and in room next door. Good localization for each who need bed for one night close to Termini.

The hotel was two minutes away from termini station witch is the center of Rome. The personal was very friendly and the rooms clean. There was also a safety box in the room. The only disadvantage for me was the steady shower.

The location couldn't be better, near Termini railway station and the most important buses hub from Rome. The conditions were excellent for the price with daily room cleaning and towels change. Very friendly staff with 24/7 opened reception. Many restaurants and souvenir shops in the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

Well situated cheap hotel with good service. Closet to railway station and busses to the Leonardo da Vinci International Airport leave close by so this was really good choice when coming from Naples to Rome and leaving from the airport back home.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
