Reviews here talk about roof terraces, balconies, views and en-suite bathrooms. I was not in that part of the Convent. The St.Antonio side costs much less, has shared bathrooms and is spartan. I stayed for nine nights, rooms are very well priced, immaculately clean, have

I loved this convent. As others have said, the rooms are spartan, but clean and the breakfast is quite generous by convent standards. They offer yogurt, muesli and other cereals, butter, jam, honey, bread rolls, cheese, cold cuts, coffee, tea, milk, and juice. The sisters do

"Request a room that faces the courtyard or garden, not Via dell Olmata."
"Rooms with 3 beds are large and great for 2 people!"
"Try not to get a room along the main road; can be loud."
"Try for one of the rooms facing the convent's courtyard and gardens. Ours faced the drug enforcement unit across the narrow street, and sometimes it got a little noisy."
