Myself and my family (altogether 11) stayed on this property for a week. It was a lovely stay. We would recommend it to the adventurous young families. The kitchen was excellent, Ottavio the perfect was the perfect host, the beds a little hard (this is personal taste) but a lovely holiday. I would add that the walk to the main... More

Great place. Highly recommend. Family friendly. Tranquil and peaceful. 25 minutes by bus to the heart of Rome. Ottavio is a friendly and caring host. Rooms are clean, spacious and have private bath rooms. Beautifully appointed and lots of attention to detail. Beds are large, with good mattresses. The pool is beautiful and the big common room in the main... More

Lovely place to stay. The main attraction of this beautiful property is location, the natural park which is truly great. it feels so quite even being just 15 min from Vatican, the center of Rome). And of course we loved the vibes of this place (thanks to Ottavio - he was really helpful and friendly, explained that Torretta de'Massimi is... More

The Torretta is convenient to the airport. It consists of a villa and tower. Both are self-contained (we filled both) with porches, cooking areas, and bedrooms. The grounds were beautiful (overlooking rolling hills, woods, a large garden, an olive orchard) and there are animals about (donkeys, chickens). There is a rectangular pool next to the Tower that is an image... More

Only a short bus ride from the centre of Rome but such a peaceful setting. Full of character and well equipped with a beautiful swimming pool. The owner was friendly and helpful and we had a fantastic stay. Highly reccommended

The Torretta de'Massimi was an amazing experience. The views from all the houses were amazing. They were so perfect that they almost looked like paintings. The houses also have great appliances: toilets, sinks, showers which have hot water, conventional ovens, stoves, a cappuccino maker, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers, bidets, a pool, etc. The whole estate recieved nightly security checks by... This is a lovely setting and provides a perfect venue to combine relaxation and sight seeing. Ottavio and Skipper (and the donkeys!) were wonderful hosts, looking after us. We stayed in the villa - a family of 10, including 2 children aged 9 & 6 - and had a lovely time. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts who... More

Mr Lancelotti and Skipper were the perfect hosts, and welcomed our family group to this beautiful villa. A half hour bus ride from Rome (you can see the city centre from the top of the toretta), it provided a perfect base for the family to explore at our leisure but also to be able to do justice to Rome.absolutely first class.

Torretta de Massimi provides the perfect venue for a relaxing holiday coupled with a sightseeing break. Completely secluded, the tower is located in a tranquil setting - the only things likely to interupt you are the crickets chirrping, the occasional donkey bray and the exubert Skipper a lovely little dog. Swimming under a full moon with bats swooping down to... More

A great place to stay! Slightly quirky, rustic, offering peace and tranquility with the benefit of a deep pool and lots of outside space, ideal after a long day walking around the city, or even instead of. The transfer to the city centre by bus is convenient and there is a good local supermarket (both a ten minute walk). The... More
