My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights on our 6 week Europe trip after. After staying in a not so good brothel like apartment in Prague, we where very pleased to be met at the front door of the apartment by the friendly hostess Paula, she was fantastic in giving us locations and directions to places to visit...

It was clean, well decorated and spacious enough for two of us, lots of shops and restaurants nearby...very good value for money. Our flight into Rome was late (around 10:30pm), but they stayed up for us which we deeply appreciated. It is conveniently located between Spanish steps and Barberini station so you can choose either station. Only gripe was that...

For us this was in an excellent location to see Rome. We walked to just about everything. The apartment was OK. Problems reported were dealt with very very quickly and without fuss. Some areas could be improved - notably the bed, which we found a little uncomfortable. Everything you need is there though and the price is OK. Bit of...

What a fantastic find! Lovely, comfortable, clean, well appointed, quiet accommodation in the heart of Central Rome. Paola, the owner, is a special hostess who provides a quality apartment and excellent support for her visitors. An excellent example of service, care, quality and attention. We will be returning! Many thanks Paola. Richard & Fiona Ware (UK)

I have been to Italy many times, especially Rome, as I have family there. I have stayed in hotels, pensiones, with family, with friends and I must say that Cortile House is at the top of that list. Paola arranged for pick-up at the airport which was very convenient and met us (my 26 yr old son & I) at...

Very nice apartment with a fabulous bathroom. We entered the building through a locked door that fronted on the via Crispi. From the entry, there was a long and somewhat dark hallway leading to a staircase. The ceiling in the hallway contained a bank of bricks reminiscent of other ancient ruins we had seen on our trip. Once we emerged...

If you want a quiet place to stay in the centre of Rome this is your spot. The owner, Paola is super nice and always worried if it's everything ok. When we arrived she called us to be sure that she would be in the house in the moment we get there so se don't wait in the street. She...

Cortile House made our holiday in Rome. It is conveniently situated in a pleasant, but authentic neighbourhood. It felt incredible to have access to such a roman experience: we felt like we were truly part of the city. When we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the fresh flowers, fruit, wine and local foods. The apartment was terrific, all the mod...
