Location was good. Easy walking to Vatican. Metro very close. Restaurants and shops also very close. Nice hotel. Most of staff very good and very friendly. Had problem with air conditioning and were moved to another much larger room for rest of our stay. But found 2 of the receptionists quite rude. My friend was asked if other guests could...

We stayed at the hotel in order to visit the sites of Rome and found it a very convenient location. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Our room was surprisingly large. The included breakfast featured a good quality cold buffet. The hotel was only 5 minutes walk from the metro, but we found it just as easy to get...

Really average hotel, located in a quiet and dirty area. A lot of dirt in the streets around and at the metro station nearby. The room is just basic, not charming or hospitable but let's say good enough for 2-3 nights. I cannot appreciate the cleanliness of the room as many others did because of the problems with clogged bathtub...

This hotel is only several blocks from the Metro and is comfortable. We spent three nights here and enjoyed the breakfasts and the convenience of the location. The manager was helpful and willing to answer our questions. I had stayed there 18 years ago and was glad to stay there again.

A warm welcome, help with luggage, and a delightful quiet room overlooking the terrace and street below. This is a safe area where we could walk the streets, eat in non-touristy small restaurants and sidewalk cafes, and enjoy restful nights. The breakfast room is superbly equipped, with amazing fresh pastries. Totally charming!

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in April. The rooms were fairly basic and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is typical italian food, with great coffee. Its within walking distance of the Vatican city. The metro is 100 yards from the hotel and you can buy them in the hotel if needed. The lady on reception was fantastic,...

I only stayed in this Hotel for one night but I was very pleased with the location. Very close to the Lepanto metro stop - great as it can get tiresome travelling around Rome. The area itself seemed very safe, almost more of a residential area but close enough to the main attractions. General upkeep of the place looked good...

I spent 4 nights total during a recent trip to Italy. The staff were very friendly and helpful (and spoke good English). Room was very clean and of a nice size. Walking distance to Vatican (15 mins) and metro (2 mins). The real treat here is the Breakfast. Best croissants I have ever had! Fresh out of the oven each...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
