Hotel Not Really a 5 Star
Reviewed 29 September 2016 via mobile

Ignore the rogue review from Bill S of Homburg and his photographs. Bill obviously stayed at a different hotel. There is no courtyard garden or breakfast, let alone a breakfast buffet. Not that the place is bad. It's a budget hotel with clean and relatively large rooms. Aircon, TV and bathroom. Good value with friendly and helpful staff in a...

I picked this hotel because the price was right and offered pick-up and drop-off service for both Airport and Cruise Terminal. What I got was a wonderful hotel and one of the best this world traveler has ever stayed at. Elegant. Tasteful. Happy Hour!!! Luxurious breakfast buffet. Backyard garden. I would come back to this hotel, just to stay at...

I booked this hotel as it was budget accommodation and close to Termini station. Pros: The ladies on reception were lovely and very helpful in answering any questions I had re location of different things etc. The room was clean and for single room it was great to have a double bed which was comfortable. The room was small but...

The hotel room itself is simple and clean. You should be spending your time out seeing the town so it doens't really matter, as long as it has good AC in the summer (which it did) and is in a good location (which it is). What I loved most was the staff. On the day of my checkout, I was...

We selected this hotel because it was close to the train station and we weren't disappointed. Christina and the other staff looked after us very well and helped us find excellent local restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here

We visited this hotel with my fiance for a short city trip last year. We enjoyed our stay here, the location is great just near Roma Termini. Room was clean and big enough. However it can get noisy at night since it is located in the city centre. One thing that bugged me was that the owner closed the main...

For a supposed 2 star hotel, this is a gem of a place! Less than 2 blocks to the train station and walking distance to all the main tourist sites. There are actually 2 hotels at this location, the other being Hotel Touring upstairs and that is how you find this place - the big sign outside says Hotel Touring....

We had a very warm welcome on arriving and throughout our stay. Our Room (7) was very clean and comfortable, it is quite noisy but I am a very light sleeper and slept very well, blackout curtains and very good double glazing helped. Don't hesitate to ask for anything they are very friendly.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
