Great location for access to sightseeing. Very accommodating and helpful staff! Room was clean and comfortable, though sparse. I travel light, so I was fine with having a shelf for my suitcase in place of a dresser. Having free wi-fi was great. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location in Trastevere. Great location for restaurants and cafes and walking distance to many attractions. The staff are extremely friendly. The room is clean, spacious and lovely. We really enjoyed our stay here. Would stay here again for sure.

Excellent location, nice people in reception, remodeled rooms, clean. Every location it's nice decorated. It's located close to Trastevere avenue, you can go walking to the principal attractions in Rome in the day, and you can spend your night in Trastevere, at 1 minute walking. Nice place and people.

Amazing location! You can literally walk to every site in Rome in less than half an hour from the apartment. Service was exceptionally friendly & recommended some great places to visit & dine at. The best part was actually how helpful staff were. We were given step by step info on how to get from the station to the apt....

Great place located just a quick taxi away from the train station. The shared flat is clean, homey, and has lots of information about Rome. Bedroom was lovely and the apartment's wifi worked great. I traveled with one friend and this being our first time in Rome was a great experience. Location is wonderful, Trastevere is a perfect neighborhood for...

Location was absolutely great, and my room was huge with an exterior window. If you open the window you can listen the cathedral bells. Very quiet, private and save. I really enjoy the fact that the hotel was in the Trastevere, next to the Guetto, and 20 minutes walking to Piazza Navona or 25 min walking to Trevi Fountain. Taxis...

Great little place in a great neighborhood. Easy to catch the tram or walk, Fabrizio and Maria and all the people that work there are super helpful and the actual rooms are quiet and roomy compared to typical European accomodations. The first time I stayed here they reserved museum and train tickets for me, and this time Fabrizio and Maria...

A nice, clean B&B in central Trastevere - but in a quiet street. The owner is supernice, very friendly and can help out with all questions you may have. The rooms are not huge but enough space for 2 persons. The bathrooms are very small but still have all you can need, and very clean. The wifi is for free...

We loved our stay at the WRH: location, price/quality and service were very good. Rooms are roomy and clean. Breakfast is a cappuccino and a cornetto in the bar on the other side of the street, which was fine for us. I have stayed in several places in Rome which offered less quality for higher prices and would defintely recommend...

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
