VERDICT: Artorius is a nice hotel in a great part of Rome. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, although quite small. Rome's attractions are minutes away on foot, as are some great restaurants and shopping. Termini train station is also very close. BIGGEST COMPLAINT: Our only complaint is the cramped size of the room and bathroom. ROOM: Aside from...

We stayed at the Hotel Artorius October 3-6, 2008. To sum it up: it's a fantastic deal. No- it's not the Four Seasons, but it's a high quality, clean hotel with friendly staff in a great location for a great price. Breakfast was included, which was great. It was three blocks from the Colosseum, 10 minute walk from the Trevi...

Loved this place. I can't say anything negative, the location (Approximately 10-15 minutes walking from the Colloseum) was great, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the rooms were nice and big and very clean.

We chose Artorius after reading the reviews on TA. The hotel did not disappoint. Spotlessly clean. Staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive. Breakfast in their courtyard is very nice. Would highly recommend staying here.

Disaster. Inaccessible even by taxi. Stuffy room with a/c in the whole hotel turned off, a promised quiet room on the street is a catastrophe, early 10am check-out offensive. Unless you are guaranteed a large room on a high floor in the back, cancel your reservation. It's clean for sure, but no extra pillows, bleak design inside the rooms, Overall...

Choosing a hotel in a large city can be intimidating and I often use trip advisor to help me make a choice. Hotel Artorius was a good choice. The room was small by North American standards but it was nicely decorated, extremely clean and comfortable. The location is excellent for exploring Rome and there are a number of good restaurants...

Helpful pleasant staff Located so well in Rome - can walk to many of the main attractions. A good deal. If they added wi-fi it would get 10.5 out of 10!
