after looking at a lot of hotels online, I chose this one for its laid back, quirky but romantic look. Unfortunately the room pictured online is the suite and the standard rooms look NOTHING like this. They're small, poorly lit, without suitable storage like bedside drawers. Shower is particularly dark and dingy, and the water wasn't truly hot. On the... More

The hotel is located very close to the Vatican, our room was decent. But the breakfast was terrible (very poor, extremely small selection of food) + nobody was cleaning the tables during the breakfast.

Hotel is in an excellent location for all attractions. The staff are friendly n checkin was swift. Our room was 204 very quirky clean and did the job. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is ideally situated for the Vatican City. The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The water could of been a bit warmer and it is on a very busy road which does not stop all night! Request a room at the back of the hotel to reduce... More

I've been at Gabriele 's place more than once. Twice for friends birthday party and some other evenings for dinner. The food is good, I mean real good. Pasta, fresh meat or fish, creative but substancious starters. Last but not least, the young and professional staff is fresh, beautiful, nice and polite.

very friendly and helpful staff. 99% of the spoke excellent English. Rooftop bar/restaurant a pleasure to relax in. Limited menu but meals, although a little pricey, were excellent. Location of this hotel was fantastic, with St Peters square and the Vatican museum only around the corner. If I was to be pickey, the rooms, although very comfortable, were a little... More

The reception Staff spoke good English and were extremely friendly and helpful at all times, especially Alessandra who was brilliant. The Hotel has Free Wi-Fi for your entire stay and rooms are serviced daily including fresh towels. We had room 308, a Junior Suite of reasonable size with a very high ceiling and tall windows which increased the feeling of... More

Room was nice, quite small but always clean. Location excellent for Vatican and central rome -only about 15 mins. Staff very friendly and restaurant was good, would stay again. Noise from rooms wasn't too bad, what you would expect from a city location

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

“better isolation of windows because there is a bar working until very late in the morning. in the cleaning of the rooms they just make the beds and change the towers but not cleaning the room around the TV or around the window.”
