The room was very dated and had little natural light, but the price was very reasonable and the middle-aged gentleman at reception was very polite and helpful. Wouldn't necessarily stay here again, but it did the trick.
I’ve stayed there for one night, the room was clean, air condition worked perfectly. There was a kettle, couple of cups, lil fridge and a safe in the room. The only slight minus, to my mind is that there is no tea/coffee in the hotel,...More
Keep in mind this is advertised as a one-star hotel and the price is very good for Rome. That said we found it to be bare bones but definitely a good value. The location was excellent, very close to Termini station. The staff was friendly....More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
