The Daphne was recommended to us by crooners who stayed here previously, they couldn't praise the staff or the hotel highly enough. Can't thank them enough for recommending the Daphne. The position of the hotel is fantastic, within walking distance of a Metro station and many of the sites. Gianni was helpful from the moment we enquires about booking here...

The staff are exceptional: approachable, knowledgeable, hard-working, and speak perfect English. The rooms are clean and well stocked. The beds are wonderfully comfortable. The hotel itself is well located, quiet, and safe. There is a computer available in the common area for guests' use, which is thoughtful. The lift is very small but expected in an old European building. If...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel / B&B for 4 nights in September 2015. The hotel is in a wonderful position for exploring Rome on foot... Everything is within walking distance. The room was clean and modern with a lovely ensuite shower room. There was a handy fridge in the room and we had access to Wi-Fi, although...

We stayed at the Daphne because of its location and because of the glowing reviews written on Trip Advisor. Our experience of a 2 night stay was exceptional. Alex and Carlos went above and beyond to help us arrange for a hotel and tour of our next adventure in Pompeii. We highly recommend this wonderful family friendly hotel.

Words cannot express the true beauty of this place. The staff went beyond anything we could imagine and we still keep in touch. Rooms are clean and well kept. Walking distance to so much including the metro. Ask the staff for a tour...they will not disappoint. We went in the rain and it was still a magical experience. Luca, thank...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
