Comfortable hotel with clean air conditioned rooms. Continental breakfast available but next door at the Hotel Duke (big brother) you can pay extra for a cooked breakfast. Use of the Dukes swimming pool outside is free during the summer or you can use the indoor spa for 15 euros each day. Good location on the main road to Rome or Tivoli; 10 minute drive to Hadriens Villa - you must see as amazing!!

This hotel is "connected" with neighbour hotel, as we had breakfast buffe at the other hotel and used their swimming pool. Neighbour Hotel: Grand Hotel Duca d'Este. The breakfast was what you might call typical continental, with lots of cookies, cakes, fruits and cerials, but not much "food". The swimming pool and the swimming pool area is great, a BIG plus! :-) Well, you will have to pay a fee to rent a towel if you don't bring your own, as you are not allowed to bring the towel from your room. But I don't understand why they don't have a "bar" or kiosk by the pool, as they still have a guy working there as life guard all day.
Back to the Hotel Tivoli; The room is OLD, but ok. Some ants visiting the bathroom, but they are polite and not that many. ;-) The AC works REALLY good, with not much noise. The beds are medium hard, but comfy. And I like it that the room has a "fridge"/minibar, where I could leave my drinks cold, that I had shopped accrossed the street, at the super market.
The hotel "online information" about travel distance to Rome City Center by train is NOT recommended, to much of a hassle and it does not take only 30.min. Take the bus instead just outside the hotel, to the metro st."Rebibbia"(20-25min bus ride), and the metro to your destination in center of Rome("Termini"(11.stops) or "Colosseo" 13.stops)). (Rome has only 2 Metro lines (A and B). Quick, cheap and convenient. Train takes more time, and still you will have to take the metro from the train station to get into the center of Rome. I.e. HASLE. ;-)
The hotel staff is friendly, the cleaning ladies too.

If you are not a millionaire, stay away from their offer of "fitness room", at the cost of 15€ per day it is a robbery! The fitness is situated at the neighbour hotel, and you are able to use their "spa" for the same price, but the fitness is just a joke, not even a treadmill available at the fitness. Do your "work out" at your room, or take a jog in the neighbourhood instead.

Be aware that this hotel is situated not in Tivoli, and not in Rome, you will have to use public transport to visit either, or a car if you have. But for a hotel at this price it is very decent, and thou I would not choose to stay here again if ever visiting Rome, the hotel it self is good.

Need to end also by saying that even if you get the room towards the road it is still quit, very "sound proof", and not much sound from the hall or elevator either.

Have a nice stay!

The AC worked, the rooms were nice. Service was very nice. They have a swimming pool, but only while a lifeguard is on duty and you cannot use the room towels. The breakfast was decent. It had a fridge in room.

We stayed 4 nights (pre-paid, couldn't cancel but would have if we could get our $ back). It was clean however not in a good area. Located close to the main road going through town and traffic noise was unbearable and we couldn't get to sleep at night. The front desk attendants could not speak English and the air conditioning is only used 2 months (July and August) a year therefore we had to open the windows for air. The pollution and noise was horrible. Would not recommend this place.

we booked this online, and arrived at the gate to find the hotel closed... a tiny sign saying "please go next door". we did that and stayed in a hotel straight out of 1975, including the mildew. horrible experience. don't go here.

Oh, BTW this hotel is a good 10 KM from Tivoli. it is not in the old town, rather it is down in the valley in a pretty sketchy looking neighborhood... lots of graffiti. I would not feel safe walking around at night around here.

I was going to stay for two nights, and I have given a credit card that their website claimed "it would have been charged ANYWAYS" even in case of no show.
When I showed up ate the reception, I was requested to pay AGAIN, as the credit card did not belong to me, it was totally weird as I usually pay all hotels in advance to avoid any issue.
The issue this time was that their claims were completely fake and I was requested to pay on the spot, otherwise they would not have given me the room at all, regardless of any prior agreement. I am totally sure there is room for a lawsuit, but since I don't have much time to invest, I preferred to leave a negative feedback instead, hoping I can discourage anyone to use this hotel.

Booked to stay here for a dream trip to the Ryder Cup 2023, booked well in advance and reservation accepted 2022031717952512. Just had notification that the reservation has been canceled as the Hotel will be shut, REALLY during what will be the busy time due to the Ryder Cup in Roma, no assistance with any alternative. I have a feeling that they have just cancelled so they can profit from charging more money for late bookings.

Stayed here on business, to the usual standard I'm used to but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were engaging and more than helpful, with excellent English.

Very basic but very clean which is what matters. Breakfast was basic too but sufficient.
Having access to next doors pool definitely sell it.

For the money I would recommend, although I would advise hiring a car.

This hotel design and layout is of the old style era...we traveled to this place from Florence by car and we had chosen this hotel as a one night stopover on our way to Naples/Amalfi.

We had trouble finding the place as the same was not updated on GPS and had to use Google maps to locate the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and as I mentioned very decent for a noght stopover. The beds were comfortable, they had a min bar, a tub and TV. This hotel is somewhat associated with the Duca rest grand hotel, which is located right adjacent to this hotel and the breakfast+wifi was also available at Duca rest grand. The Duca rest grand, looked like a much more luxurious and current age hotel.

There was an old man at the counter who first was very rude (when we called him to ask for directions) but was later very helpful to guide us to nearby restaurant and help us with local information. If you happen to stay here and plan to eat nearby, I would suggest you try cafe Risto which is 200m from the hotel - it offers great food and the staff there is extremely friendly.

The hotel is located in Tivoli Terme and we were told that Tivoli has some tourist attractions which are close to the hotel.

Overall a complete value for money hotel and if you are looking for cheap, decent, well equipped hotel in Tivoli this place fits the bill.
