Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Although the staff and breakfast were lovely Im afraid I wouldnt stay again. The room decor was very dated.the wall paper was peeling off the wall and in the bathroom the bowl of the toilet was brown. I must admit that the breakfast was very good and the staff really friendly but the room was very tired.

This hotel is not far from the motorway exit A24 Roma-Aquila. We stayed there three nights and found it an ideal base to travel to places of interest. The owner, Paolo, couldn't do enough for his guests. He gave us directions to places we wanted to visit. All the staff were very friendly. Plenty of choice at breakfast and after long days out we decided to eat in the hotel in the evening. The food was excellent and very reasonable prices, can definitely recommend it. Villa d'Este and Villa Adriana are places not to be missed.

Just off the Autostrade this inconspicuous little hotel fulfils a worthwhile purpose for those wishing to visit Villa D'Este and Villa Adriana . Don't be put off by the surroundings. The hotel is a peaceful oasis in a commercial area . Bedrooms are clean and functional , breakfasts are adequate and the prices very reasonable. Dinner can be provided and made up of local fare without trimmings. We thought it easier to be here rather than in Tivioli itself where parking is impossible.

This was probably the least impressive hotel we stayed in in Italy, but it was also the cheapest. It is very hard to find and the GPS can't locate it, as there are two parts to the same road and there is no street number. Warning - it is quite near the exit from the motorway, on the right, and a fair way away from the attractions of Tivoli. The room was very hot and the air conditioning didn't work, and you couldn't leave the window open at night because of the road noise (not the motorway, the road up to Tivoli which is quite busy). Also the bathroom was very small and the shower screen door was broken (and had obviously been pretty shoddy to start with). However the chaps at the desk in the evening (apparently students) were very helpful, and Il Torchio up the road provides a very good evening meal.

Dark hallway, small, simple room, no view, everything but romantic. Friendly staff and free parking. Close to Hadrians Villa. One night is enough.

Referred here by another, full, hotel. Less than 1 km. to the right off the A24 Tivoli exit closest to Rome. You have to watch closely or you'll pass it: its behind a stand of trees, teeny yellow sign. On-site parking with video surveillance. There is NO view. Room clean, comfortable, modern. Bath spacious for Italy 3 star, but no tub. Amenities included a/c, cable movies, slippers, shampoo, etc. Excellent breakfast: nothing cooked, but cereal, yogurt, fruit, tortes in addition to the usual cornetto and coffee. Staff extremely helpful; some English. Easy, if congested, drive up the hill to Tivoli proper and Villa d'Este area and VERY easy access to autostrada. Would definitely stay here again. I paid 70 euro for a single.
