La Meridiana Hotel is for us the ideal place to stay for a relaxing time in the Marche very near the beautiful renaissance town of Urbino. We find that the rooms are well equipped with air conditioning, well furnished and practical. Everything seems to be in the right place and there is enough room left to move around. Immaculately clean and kept tidy on a daily basis. Good beds. There is a breakfast buffet in the morning with plenty of choice. And the Meridiana Hotel has a good restaurant where I personally love the food. Simple savoury dishes. The manegement and staff are very friendly and helpful and do everything to make you happy. So many years that we come here now and it still remains a very nice experience!

This place is very simple - nothing close to fancy. This is not an old rustic charming hotel, nor is it modern. Rather, it appears more like something built in the 60's, needing updating and remodeling. It feels more like an old American motel. It could definitely use a freshening up. Rooms are very simple, reasonable in size (but not large). However it is clean and comfortable. Many of the rooms have a nice territorial view. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Location is excellent if you wish to be close to the old city, but not it in. Just a few kilometers away and plenty of free convenient parking. I believe there is a pool, but it was closed for the season when we were there. Breakfast is just so-so. They do have a restaurant that is open for dinner, but we did not try it. Very good restaurant diagonally across the street…

About 10 minutes from Urbino center by car. The location is not really on the street but they have big signboard. So, it’s easy to find this hotel. I like this hotel because they have big parking lot and the receptionists are friendly. The breakfast is quite good, many choices. But I don’t really like when there is group because they take any food, cups, spoons etc even though in other table. They should have separate breakfast table or food. So, it won’t disturb other guests.

La Meridiana is a small hotel a few kilometres form the centre of Urbino (a superb view of the city is available from the hotel grounds). In appearance and decor it is slightly dated, but it more than compensates for this by being comfortable, quiet and having outstandingly friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is good too: it offers simple food, well-cooked, and at reasonable prices. There is ample parking. Highly recommended.

Stayed here recently whilst on a motorbike tour. It's a 3 star hotel, but it deserves another star, based on the staff alone. Rooms are basic, but spotlessly clean, staff are really friendly and helpful, and Luigi the manager goes out of his way to make you feel welcome.

We had made reservation at another hotel, it was getting dark and the GPS took us to a very bad road, up a mountain and when we asked a resident he told us that the road was interrupted and we couldn't reach the hotel. Looking for another option, we saw hotel Meridiana. The attendant at the reception was extremely nice, helping us to cancel the reservation at the other hotel. The hotel is simple but comfortable and convenient. The food at their restaurant is very good. There's a beautiful view of the countryside and Urbino. It is very close to parking for Urbino.

The Meridiana may be a relatively small hotel but larger hotels could learn a lot from this hotel which is spotlessly clean and managed very well, the staff without exception are very friendly and go out of there way to make your stay as pleasant as possible, all very refreshing these days. The hotel is also in a beautiful location being surrounded by rolling hills with Urbino sitting on a hill top just a short distance away. Bellisimo !

Basic hotel but great position for exploring the area. The staff were extremely polite and caring. Could not fault the service. Urbino itself is amazing and so much history and culture. Even found a handbag factory with great discounted prices. Not far to travel to Rimini or the coastline or you can even explore the hillside roads but be careful of the potholes. We would stay here again.
