I stayed a few days to visit Pesaro and its surroundings choosing this structure for the location secluded from the major automotive arteries, the hilly position and the
proximity to the main tourist villages of Marche.
Brand new and huge room, fascinating view of Urbino.
Bathroom with large shower and corner bath.
Swimming pool available to customers.
A la carte restaurant with local dishes at fair prices.
Sweet/savoury breakfast.
The oldest part of the structure is still under renovation.
Reception is manned from 6.30am to midnight.

Dated but clean hotel with swimming pool and restaurant. The rooms are medium in size while the bathroom is a little small, the mattresses are excellent!! Staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. Abundant savory and sweet breakfast served buffet style. In the evening we had dinner at the restaurant, spending the right amount, plentiful and well-prepared dishes, the pappardelle were excellent!!! Excellent location for visiting Urbino

My husband and I spent 5 days at this property.
The structure is outside Urbino, but very close and able to allow you to visit all the worthwhile places in the surrounding area.
The room is spacious and clean, the bathroom is comfortable and functional (just a coat hanger for towels is missing).
The swimming pool is very pretty and very comfortable for a few hours of peace and relaxation. Decent sweet and savory breakfast (the only flaw is the machine for hot drinks... a coffee and an espresso cappuccino would be better).
Having half board we had the opportunity to test the restaurant and I must say that I have nothing to criticize. Excellent food, vast and varied choice (pizza la flat is also offered, which I must say is really good). The strong point of the restaurant is the staff in the figures of Asmae and Fatima: kind, smiling, helpful and prepared.
Compliments also to the owner, always ready and available to satisfy every request.
Advised!

On the phone we accept the mega offer (140 in a quadruple room + extra bed and breakfast), but rather than the offer price it should be the normal price if you find yourself in the wing still to be renovated, which overlooks the back and has no view of Urbino. Breakfast is free but better read the part about food. Large and clean rooms, bathroom obviously in need of renovation, shelf and towel rail not usable, bathroom bin with broken lid.... Very comfortable mattresses. Swimming pool appreciated)
Contrasting elements also at the restaurant (highly recommended).... On the one hand, excellent grilled beef steak and sublime herbs. On the other mixed grilled meat with two pieces that had a bad smell... (especially the lamb). Dried pieces of focaccia placed in the bread basket (maybe it had to be finished) How could you not notice it (the meat) while cooking it???
Be careful, the baked potatoes were already ready.
The Milanese cutlet was pink inside, a strange taste, we were told that another customer also reported it but that it is a type of pork like this, from the area (cutlet 10 euros). Breakfast was rejected. Large table full of desserts: croissants that are not fresh, piled up and crushed like those in the "ready-to-eat" bags at the supermarket, cakes and muffins made by hand, sadly defrosted. (Dry cocoa cake with cold central slices, muffins good at first bite and cold in the centre, dry donuts with white spots in the middle like defrosted bread....
The savory food, very small in quantity compared to the sweet, finished at 8.45, upon request if there was still any the answer was "I don't know, I have to ask in the kitchen", then it arrived (breakfast finished at 10.00). Be careful, it's not cooked ham but it looks like shoulder ham.
I recommend reading both hotel and restaurant reviews.
Conclusion: too bad, given the scores we were disappointed.
At the bill we find the cover charge, we don't think we saw it on the four A4 sheets that were given to us with a 'list of choices' between drinks, food and pizzas. I point it out and at that point I point out the meat that smelled (also told to the waitress who apologised, taking away the obviously smelly piece, dish paid for)... They gave me almost the entire cover charge back.

This is one of those hotels that I could truly define as a nightmare, we found very dirty and poorly maintained rooms.
In my room the furniture and the floor were full of dust and in addition to this the under the bed, which had not been cleaned at all, had a very thick layer of dust as well as handkerchiefs used by others.
Then the television didn't work as well as it should, the bathroom door didn't close thus creating embarrassing situations and we also found a lot of dust and hair in the bed.
The hotel is truly located in the middle of nowhere and therefore this leads to a continuous invasion of bedbugs always present in the structure and the fact that the phones do not receive good reception and not even the Wi-Fi works as well as it should.
However, upon our arrival some of our traveling companions found an even worse situation than ours because there were worms in their room and in another room the bathroom was completely unusable with the shower full of rubble so I attach the photo, judge for yourself if it is acceptable.
But the icing on the cake of our stay was the dinner during which we found a dead bedbug on the floor while we were eating, I don't think I need to say anything else.
We then also tried the breakfast where hot drinks such as coffee or cappuccino are only available for a fee at the bar and the few juices or juices that are offered for breakfast are undrinkable.
In conclusion I would like to say that this is a truly scandalous and not at all well looked after hotel, just smell the perpetual smell that wanders through the corridors and in the room used for meals.
I do not recommend anyone to go there.

For anyone wishing to stay in Urbino, I can only recommend this Pension which borders on perfection. Apart from a most friendly welcome, the rooms are spacious and pleasant, impeccable cleanliness, Olympian calm and all with a splendid view of the citadel. The restaurant is not only affordable it is also delicious, offering neat traditional cuisine from central Italy - do not miss the boar stew ravioli. The icing on the cake: the French-speaking boss is adorable! Try it at any Award!

The structure is very adequate and welcoming, clean and located at the crossroads of beautiful tourist / nature trails. The food is particularly good and always served with large portions: the waiting staff is really very patient, as well as being fast and competent. Dear all the receptionists and the owner, who gave us valuable tips on how to know the beauty of the area in the time available to us (a weekend).
The rooms, very well heated and tidy, are very spacious and equipped with every comfort. We will definitely return to stop at the Meridiana hotel to experience a stay in the new complex currently under construction, where we would like to spend a period of total relaxation, taking advantage of the wellness path in the beautiful indoor pool.

We stayed a weekend at the Hotel la Meridiana. Excellent in every respect. New room and very clean, warm and comfortable. Very kind and professional staff. A special mention goes to the chef, who prepared all the menus based on fresh produce and made some vegetarian dishes, following my request made at the time of booking. Not least the price of the stay, very low compared to the services offered by the structure.

I was in this hotel on a school trip and when we arrived the rooms were very dirty with dust, fur and hair in the beds, including spiders and cockroaches. Once we complained the staff were very rude and continued to deny it despite the evidence. The refreshment room was dirty, with worms on the floor. I attach photos.

Hotel on the outskirts of Urbino in a quiet and peaceful countryside area, with an outdoor park. Clean, medium-sized rooms, with some broken light bulbs. The bathroom, although quite new in appearance, has little support surfaces and the shower latch was broken, risking falling on the person using it. Breakfast very rich in cakes and also with some savory dishes, overall quite good, but with something to improve: one pear was very hard, there is also no vending machine for hot drinks, but you have to get them at the bar by queuing up, making the wait a lot longer. waiting times at busy times.
Friendly service, but we had the impression of a certain confusion even during check out, when the bill situation wasn't too clear to the staff (fortunately everything was resolved later and we were also offered a bottle of water at the reception). mini-bar). Prices slightly above average
