Our group spent 4 nights at the Hotel San Giorgio. The hotel was very nice and they appeared to make a special "American breakfast" of bacon and eggs each morning for our group. The front desk staff was very nice but is limited in English. Rooms are great and bathrooms are upgraded. Be aware they they are energy efficient and... More

Hotel San Giorgio is ideal for large groups due to its location. .For four nights, we brought 50 Americans to stay for a family reunion in nearby village (ancestral home). Salvatore Menniti, especially, was extremely helpful in coordinating plans and making sure our stay was magnificent. I highly recommend this place for its charm and level of service.

Perfect location. Walking distance from centre. Nice grounds. Amazing breakfast. Service was excellent. Everybody was very helpful. I have to thank Lucia Davies from Sicily Tours for choosing this place. We really enjoyed it. Especially the breakfast with traditional Sicilian food

This was my first trip to Italy, but what I liked about the hotel that it is a nice hotel, the room is very good and i think they need to have more varities in the breakfast like vegetables, eggs more types of bread and cheese. There is good supermarket nearby where you can buy any extra thing you need.

We had a one night at Campobasso at Hotel San Giorgio. Staff were very kind and service was good. Breakfast was good as well. Room was good and a/c worked well. I can recommend this hotel to all visitors at Campobasso.

Stayed few days on a business trip in this hotel, the building seemed to be one of the nicest in the neighbourhood. Room and bed spacious. All working including the internet. The biggest disappointement was the breakfast with very small choice and no eggs and vegetables at all for example. Would highly recommend to improve the choice adding more types... More

Stayed overnight for a wedding in Campobasso. The room appeared decent upon entering, but as I went through the room at 1am upon my return, I noticed it was dirty. It appears it has not been cleaned in a very long time: bed cover was stained; mold in the shower; webs in the corner behind the door; dust on the... More

We were visiting family in Campobasso, and stayed here for 2 nights. It has been our second time in this hotel and our experience has been very good. Travelers must understand that Campobasso is not a tourist center, so the staff is only fluent in Italian. However, they are very helpful and do the utmost so the guest feels comfortable.... More

Came here to trace our family roots in nearby Monacilioni after weeklong tour of Italy (here from Dallas). Rooms were nice and large with a lot of outlets and, unlike our city hotels, had a bathroom counter large enough to spread out on. Staff didn't speak english but was friendly and we could get by just fine. It is also... More

At the last minute, we had to find a place to stay in Campobasso. The staff at the hotel were terrific -- pleasant and helpful, especially given our poor Italian language skills. The breakfast (included) was also a bright spot. It's unfortunate that the rooms were so basic (especially for the price). They were clean but worn and tired with... More
