#25 of 390 B&Bs / Inns in Bologna
B&B Carosello: the welcome colours. Our vintage B&B situated in the downtown, in one of the main streets of Bologna is inside of an Old building away from crowds. Each guest room decorated in a different colour overlooks the courtyard and the garden. Soft and pleasant colours personalized our quiet rooms. They have double comfortable beds with two bedside tables, a wardrobe, a useful table, two chairs, a coat hanger and a luggage holder. All rooms have television, hair dryers and a ceiling fan. The room’s measure is from 15 to 20 m. The bathroom is Non-Ensuite, but the cotton bed linen is supplied to each guest. Free WIFI internet in all the rooms. In our bright living room decorated in 50’s style, you can enjoy breakfast with sweet or salty fresh products. You can also stay here to read a book or plan your itinerary. On a warm day, you can also use the balcony, and if you want to smoke, you can do it only here.

Clean, peaceful and well-designed place, in the center of the city. Roberto is a great man, helped us to find out local restaurants, old places, markets and easy local transportation. In addition, we had a good breakfast with a special espresso and jazz radio music. Thank you Roberto for your hospitality,Feza&Ayhan

My boyfriend and I came and stayed here in May. The host/owner, Roberto was fantastic. Once we arrived and got settled he sat down with us, gave us a map and pointed out the sites, best places to eat drink and visit. We literally took that map everywhere and explored everything he said to. We stayed in the orange room which was lovely and colourful, very welcoming and spacious. We were unsure at first about sharing a bathroom as I’m very fussy when it comes to bathrooms but there was no issues at all. There are two bathrooms to four rooms and we didn’t encounter anyone using them when we wanted to and they were always fresh and clean. Don’t let sharing a bathroom put you off, this place is fab and in an amazing location. Location is in the heart of everything. Behind the B&B is a great strip of bars that we ended up in every night. Out front and on the right is everything you could ask for, shops, coffee, restaurants, shopping, churches, We will definitely visit Bologna and stay with Roberto again.

Great bed & Breakfast! We really enjoyed our holidays in this place. The owner is very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are basic with all the things you need. The shared bathroom was clean. The breakfast was very basic and cheap. We had a great experience.

This B&B is only a short walk to the centre of Bologna, where you find exquisite cafe's and restaurants galore. Roberto, owner and manager is a wonderful host, and the welcome to his place was truly Italian. Breakfast delights await and beautifully presented. This is the best B&B I have stayed at. Very clean and modern and very well presented. When I come back to Bologna, I will certainly stay here.

Great location, you can walk easily everywhere in the city. The room was big and comfortable, the bathroom always, or most of the times clean ( here is not the owner fault but , some guests fault, sometimes people forget that they are sharing space), but I give a 5* clean to everything. The decor is really beautiful, tidy and clean. Really nice and helpful owner. Just two suggestions (not negative comments) : I would implement a shoe free hotel, kind of Japanese style, where you let your shoes at the entrance so the b&b doesn’t get dirty, and I would improve the bread options for breakfast . We loved and we definitely recommend!
