Moto Bene! Marco is a terrific host, a super nice place, and a great location. Whilst close to the City, the local area and restaurants are really good. Absolutely recommend whether for business or pleasure!

The B&B is in a good location, a ten minute walk from Piazza Maggiore and a 15-20 minute walk from the station. The manager Marco was very welcoming. He gave us a handy map of the city and suggested some nice restaurants nearby and places worth visiting. He also recommended his favourite gelateria, which we visited several times! The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a TV, a fan, plenty of storage space and numerous sockets. The WiFi was reliable. The communal bathroom wasn't a problem for us as there are two of them between only 4-5 rooms. Breakfast was self-service, with a variety of juices, croissants, bread, biscuits, cheeses, cakes etc to choose from. There was a microwave, coffee machine and toaster available for the guests to use. It was ideal for us. If we return to Bologna, we'll definitely stay here again.

Great value for money - clean, comfortable and very stylishly decorated. Marco was really welcoming and his map with suggestions for restaurants and bars was really useful. The bathrooms are shared but this wasn't a problem at all. Just a heads up to make sure you read the checking in instructions after you've booked (I didn't because I'm stupid) there isn't a reception so you will need to call Marco when you arrive - if I'd read the instructions (which very clearly said this) I'd have made sure I had a working phone and saved myself having to fin a payphone and work out how to use it! Also when you come up in the lift in the dark the switch on the left which looks like a light-switch isn't - it's next door's doorbell (sorry Mr Next Door)

We recently stayed here during a weekend break to Bologna. The place is about 10mins walk from the main plaza. Marco was very welcoming and knowledgable about the local area area and about day trips to Florence etc. Our room was lovely, very well decorated and set out. Our rates included breakfast which was pretty standard but exactly what we expected. There were 6 rooms in total, sharing 2 bathrooms/toilets, and whilst this wasn’t a problem for us in the off-season this could be more problematic in the summer/bust months, but I wouldn’t let that stopping you from enjoying Marco’s place!

I stayed at Marco's place for 1 night, and found my stay to be comfortable and safe (which, as a solo female traveller, I made a priority). Marco also accommodated my stay despite the fact I had booked the wrong month! The location is within walking distance of all the sights. I highly recommend AyHome :)
