Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at B&B Parigi for 3 nights. The room was clean and modernized, the host very helpful, going out of her way to acclimate us in Bologna and recommend local restaurants. The location, shirt walking distance to all sights as well as multiple bars and restaurants could not have been better. A must stay in Bologna!

We spent 4 days in this B&B and were very happy with the accommodation and the location. It is very central but lovely and quiet. Our room was a good size with a large comfortable double bed, lots of hanging space for your clothes and a kettle for making tea and coffee. The bathroom was very big with a lovely rain shower. The owner Francesca met us on arrival and gave us lots of information on Bologna and recommendations for restaurants. She was very friendly and always available if you needed her as she lived on the floor above. Bologna is an amazing city and Parigi B&B was the perfect place to stay to make the most of it.

Our daughter lives in Bologna around the corner from B&B Parigi. I confess that I was attracted by the location -- near her and in the central city. We stayed there from June 6 to 12. My husband and I like to walk everywhere when we can and B&B Parigi is perfect in that regard. The owner, Francesca, was extremely nice and helpful. She gave us many tips for places to eat and shop. There's no restaurant on site but she gave us breakfast vouchers for four places. We tried three and two were amazing: Fiordaliso, which is only two weeks old and a two minute walk away; and Antico Caffe Scaletto, a short walk up Ugo Bassi. I think they are owned by the same person. Outstanding pastries, especially the cornetti with cream and with Nutella. Unbelievably good and reasonably priced! Our room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. We found the room to be very comfortable, with a balcony, air conditioning (we didn't even think to ask!), and modern furnishings. One more advantage: it's around the corner from our favorite gelato store in Bologna, Gelateria Gianni. There's one next to the Due Torri, but also one at Via Monte Grappa, 11. Super close and not so jammed with tourists. We loved staying at B&B Parigi and would recommend it to one and all.

The location of the B&B was very central but still very quiet and peaceful. It is located in a quiet street which is 3 minutes walk away from Piazza Maggiore. The B&B is on the 2nd floor of a building and there was a elevator in the building which makes to carry luggages to the B&B very easy. The bed was very comfortable. But the space in the room was not planned so well. The room could be more spacious. And also I wish there was a kettle and a couple of cups in the room. Francesca, the host was very polite, kind and helpfull. She lives on the upper floor of the B&B and helps for almost everything but still, I think having a reception would be better for the guest needs. There was no breakfast, a vaoucher for a nearby cafe was given instead. The cafe and their products for breakfast were very nice but the voucher of 3 euro per person is not enough for a breakfast it buys almost only a drink.

We are world travelers. Visited, lived in and/or worked in 150 countries during the past 36 years and stayed in many, delightful B&Bs. B&B Parigi is exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet and conveniently located to historical landmarks and one of the world's oldest and largest universities. However, breakfast is not served at B&B Parigi, With a two euro coupon you can have delicious coffee and croissants at a wonderful coffee shop nearby. We began our days in wing-back chairs, spacious tables and surrounded by bookcases offering fascinating classics, newspapers, magazines and travel/tour information. With Vivaldi and Mozart plus the three tenors playing softly in the background, your day begins relaxed and saying to yourself "life is good". Owners are warm and very responsive to our requests for assistance. They reside in the same building on a different floor but easy to contact with your mobile phone. Parked our rental car a short walk away in a well protected garage. Assuming you are seeking a place from which you can walk to fabulous restaurants, world's prestigious shops, impressive museums and historical monuments....you will find B&B Parigi moderately priced and in a perfect location.
