Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The residence offers very big rooms with a kitchen and a large bathroom. The location is also excellent only a 5 minute walk from the main square and is also close to many bars and restaurants. The staff were very nice and friendly. The hotel is also walking distance from the train and bus stations.

We (me, my wife and my daughter 1 year old) have been there to visit Trieste and the neighborhood (Slovenia too). The studio flat was clean, bright and large enough to let the baby play. You can easily find parking (free or not) in the surrounding streets. It has an elevator. You can visit Trieste and forget your car. Good staff.

Great apt style place for a long stay. I had a great check in and was able to store my bags there as the room wasn't ready. Later when I did come back, the room was very big with a separate kitchen. The main bedroom/living room was spacious and very nice.

Some of the outlets wouldn't work with some of my European adapters as they were more narrow, so just be aware if you are coming from other countries and need to use adapters, that some of yours might not work, but the thiner ones will.

The location is great, and very easy to get to local transit and there is a tobbaconist down the street for all day bus passes as well, making this a great spot as a home base for day trips to other places in Italy or Slovenia or Croatia.

Price was good for what you got...

I had a lovely stay here! The staff was very nice and the room was lovely and comfortable. The location is excellent, its close to some museums and vintage shops. Would recommend if you are traveling as a family, as a couple or with friends.

The title of this review sums things up, i.e., .good location, very clean facilities, roomy and well equipped apartment, pleasant staff. We had a spacious one bedroom apartment with a pull out bed in the living room. Our adult daughter slept on the pullout and it was comfortable enough, but not the same as a real bed. Although the residence faces a busy street and piazza, the windows were well insulated and the room quiet. The young staff members were very helpful and friendly. Note that this is not a hotel and there is no lobby or full time staff. Also, it is located about 10 minutes' walk from the water so if you want a water view, this is not for you. We enjoyed our stay and would return. Incidentally, Trieste is a great city to visit.

Great value hotel with large rooms that have separate lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable beds (although would prefer a doona to wool blanket in winter). The room was clean, quiet and reception staff were friendly and helpful. The windows looked on to rooftops and was not very appealing.
Parking is difficult in this part of town so I would recommend taking advantage of the parking offered by the hotel at £20euro (we only stayed one night but I would imagine this is per day and not sure how many times you can request the car to be returned). You just arrive and park at the front and then give 15 minutes notice when you want the car returned. The hotel is located in a central location and we could walk to everything we wanted to see and do.

Barcolana Regatta
This Residence is the perfect homebase for strolling the old city, the beautiful Piazza Italia and the harbour. Especially, like we -by coincidence- did on the second sunday of october, traditionally the Barcolana Regatta-day.
Thousands of people, hundreds of ships, zero parking possibilities!
Good facilities, good room, washing machines, no breakfast. But plenty restaurants in the vicinity, so no worry!

Tip: go to the Tourist Information on the Piazza Italia, pay a few euros and have a professional, very interesting and audioguided citywalk (appr 120 minutes). Best we ever had!
Tip2: Osteria Marise is a small restaurant, around the corner in de Via Felice Venetian nr 11. Small capacity, brilliant kitchen, professional staff.

Roberto at this hotel was so helpful, kind and knowledgeable. He always went out of his way to help with anything we asked. He spoke very good English and knew the city well and was able to direct us anywhere we wanted to go.

We spent 2 weeks here from 11 June 2017. We found the apt spacious and comfortable. Our view on 10th floor was over the rooves of the city which we loved. From this residence you can walk to anywhere in the Centro in 10 minutes. Buses to further out one street away, also the ferries to Muggia, Grado and Miramare. It really could not be more central. Fittings were of high standard. Staff so helpful and on site laundry so convenient. We really could not expect to find such comfort and convenience in a central location for this price anywhere. Trieste is a marvellous city and we had a marvellous experience. If you can do go to the opera. Also, do take the city guided walk from the tourist bureau asap as it gives a great intro to the city and its history. Swimming at Barcola great fun.
