We have chosen this hotel by reading the positive reviews here and because we were heading to the excellent restaurant Tavernetta al Molo which is just a stone's throw away, on the bay. Months and months in advance I have been corresponding with this hotel choosing the room with the balcony overlooking the bay on the second floor. Each time...

This hotel is at the end of a hairpin road right by the sea. There is no signage off the main road. Follow the signs for "Riviera". Park the car and find the entrance hidden behind the restaurant at the end of this road. Your adventure has just begun. It almost feels like you've entered an Ann Rice novel -...

Even though the service was very friendly and accommodating, this didn't make up for overall experience; perhaps less money should have been spent on peculiar interior design and more on cleaning. Shower was broken and mouldy at top, toilet smelled, cobwebs and filthy floor mat. Unfortunately, breakfast was always made early and left out standing, with choice made for you...

Great place to stay near Trieste.Rooms are comfortable and have an elegant deco to them. Bathroom is clean, shower a little small. Due to the hotels location the building is quite high and if you are any floor above you have quite a task taking heavy baggage up. My tip for short stays is take essentials up to the room....

When i found this hotel on tripadvisor i was enthusiastic and actually after the stay i still am :) The Hotel is situated in quiet locality, the sea is directly in front of hotel, maybe in 30 meters. The public free parking is in 100m. I guess that the best of rooms are on the top with amazing view but i...

Don't be put off by external appearances. This is a lovely, family run, individualistically styled hotel that may be slightly rough around the edges but beats soulless tourist hotels hands down. We ate here in the evening, outside on the lovely terrace bathed in the setting sun over the Adriatic. The food was outstanding, not to be missed. Great base...

We were so pleased that we did not end up in Trieste centre as planned. The location is relatively quiet, below the main road passing up the hill, with a pretty harbour and view across a wide bay towards Venice. We chose this hotel mainly due to feedback on Tripadvisor and Booking.com, and we were not disappointed. If someone is...

We were staying in Mignon almost all August and we have to say that we are very satisfied with this hotel. Mignon strongly resembles home atmosphere that we consider as a serious advantage. Concerning the hotel restaurant, we remember well-balanced breakfasts but the dinners were really great! Finally, what we appreciate mostly is a warm atmosphere and friendly attitude in...

Such a great experience! My houseband and I felt in love with this hotel and its restaurant! We are having breakfast with homemade cakes and biscuits in front of the see..so romantic! The room we slept in was so adorable! I don't want to leave! Yesterday we had a delicious fresh fish dinner in the fabulous dining room.. Recommended to...
