The Savoia Excelsior as close to 5 stars as a 4 star hotel can get without the excessive prices. Of course it always helps to be upgraded to a suite but , as the Hotel was not busy at the end of November, that was a good and easy way to ensure customer satisfaction. It's a sign of professional management...

A luxury hotel facing the sea, all aspects are good except service at breakfast room. Room is excellent with no complaint. Our room is facing the sea which also means facing the main street but heard no noise at all. Soundproof is good. House-keeping service was good during our 2-night stay. For breakfast, variety and selection are good. The only...

Always wanted to stay at this classical hotel, I remember 60 years ago there was no lifts and you had to walk up the majestic marble stairs. View from the front balconies are superb and so is the whole experience. Close to everything especially my memories.

Easy to drive to... easy to park... great valet service. Upgrade to excellent rooms. Massive tv with sky so could watch tennis. Excellent sea front position. Very helpful reception. Good recommendations. Excellent ample breakfast. If this place had existed why would Max and Charlotte have needed their Castle at Miramemme? Stylish elegant grand hotel. Even with big conference very spacious...

This hotel is extremely comfortable. The lounge/bar is very spacious with plenty of comfortable seating and is cozy at the same time. Nearby is the library, and though there may not be many books of interest to a particular reader, it is a great place to sit quietly and read. The overall comfort and attractiveness of this hotel makes it...

This hotel is really THE place to spend a few days in the beautiful city of Triest. As we arrived early in the morning our pre-booked room was not ready. The staff was so nice, booked us in and apologized that the rrom was not ready, what we didn't expect. We left our luggage and went into town. They gave...

We've spent couple of days in this hotel with our family and we had to admire not only Trieste as a beautiful town but also the hotel, the style of it, the services and the special feeling you have once you stay there.

This was the first time we have been in Italy! Started this part of our trip in Trieste because my husband had some work to do in Monfalcone. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. What a gorgeous hotel (you felt like a princess in this hotel). The staff was wonderful and very accommodating.

We like this hotel a lot. We had a suite overlooking the Adriatic with two balconies. It's worth the added cost, which isn't great or prohibitive. This is an elegant hotel from Hapsburg times which has been well modernized on the inside without losing its old world charm. It's a great location for anywhere in Trieste. The front desk was...
