Cheap but deceiving! We booked a room with outside shower. The mastress are really old and not recommanded for your back. The bathroom is not a good shape (no hot Water in the evening) but it's cheap and quiet located for the price Enjoy your stay at Trieste

I stayed for a few days and I was quite impressed with the central location. It is nice, clean, quiet and the price is acceptable. The choice of food available is vast. The staff were very helpful to providing helpful info about places in Trieste.

For a budget traveller in the elegant city of Trieste, the Istria is a great find. The room was small but spotless. The bathroom was a good size and also spotless. The reception people were nice; one spoke French; one spoke English. No elevator. For me, the Istria was perfect. It's about 12 blocks from the train station and a...

We stayed for a week at €60 per night. The room was small but really big enough. It also has air condition, albeit of the kind that is loud enough that you can't use it during the night. At least we couldn't. The beds were quite poor, you could hear (and feel) the steel springs as you turned in bed....

We stayed 2 nights. Staff were friendly. There is no lift if that is an issue. Wifi works well. The location is good with access to restaurants cafes and bars and the waterfront is not far away. The room is small and so is the shower. The air conditioner is too loud to have on overnight. Might be an issue...

My friend and I stayed for one night and had a great experience. The front desk staff was helpful and attentive. Our room was simple but spotlessly clean and perfect for our overnight trip (we are two grad students doing a summer study abroad program). Wifi worked in our room (first floor) and we had a TV and air conditioning....

We stopped in Trieste and had no where to stay. We were happy to find Hotel Istria, where we got a clean room and bathroom located very close to bars and cafes in a buzzing part of town. The reception staff were friendly and provided us with a map of the city.

We had a room where we had our own bathroom. It was clean, but the shower curtain was missing, so the bathroom floor was very wet afterwards. Not enough power outlets, we had to choose between having on the fan on or charge our camera, phone etc. Staff was very friendly and helped us with the busses. The wifi worked...

It is announced as albergo, but it is better than what falls under this term. The rooms are great and the price is competitive. I had an accident while I was in Trieste and the staff did everything they could for me feeling more comfortable. The rooms have air and TV. There is no lift, but there are only three...

Stayed in this hotel for around 5 nights, it is great for very basic requirement of just needing somewhere to sleep. The reception staff are very very friendly and helpful and speak great English. The location of the Hotel is also great, near all the local shops and close to lovely ice cream shops and bars. I literally only came...
