We stayed at the Hotel Villa Accini for two nights while in Monterosso. We found that the rooms were clean, that the staff was very friendly and helpful, and that the location of the hotel was pretty well centrally located to most locations that you would like to visit. It's about a 10 minute walk to the train station, however please keep in mind that there is a fairly steep walkway from the front gate of the property to the hotel. The staff will be more than happy to help you with your luggage but nonetheless it's still a pretty good walk. Keep in mind if you have mobility issues.

Pros Good approach from the station and beach. Grocery is right close to the hotel. Complimentary waters in mini bar. Internet was super fast. Very quiet and I felt like there were no one but me. But there are many guest in breakfast room in the morning. Matress was comfy and hard. Bathroom was clean. Cons Little hilly when you have heavy luggages but there is Spacious parking spot. Coffee taste was not great. People working here were not super friendly but resonable service which was ok.

Arriving in monterosso by car this was the perfect choice for us. Just outside the ztl with free parking. Quiet and with clean and comfortable rooms. Sort of expensive for the standard, but not compared to the pricing of the area.

The hotel sits atop a hill which made for a challenging arrival having to drag your luggages up the hill with no assistance from anyone at the hotel. The people at the front desk rarely speak and none of the staff seem to want to be there. The breakfast was the worst of the four hotels we stayed at in Italy which were additional charges to the hotel room. Additionally, they charge for the use of beach towels that barely passed for towels. The best thing that I can say about this place is the bathroom is spacious. Overall, the cost is too high for a hotel that do not include breakfast, beach towels, and customer service. I would not recommend this hotel.

This was not what you expect from a hotel but more of like renting an apartment. Yes, It is close to the train but totally inconvenient humping your luggage up hill with no one greeting you to help! The rooms feel like collage dorms. The staff thought minimal were nice but not overly friendly. Breakfast was a pass It's worth spending more. This is clearly a get what you pay for. Also not in one of the nicer areas of the Cinque Terra. Keep looking!

There are no telephone in the rooms so wake up calls are impossible. There also is no one on duty from about 11:00PM to 8:00AM, My first night, I arranged to be awaken by a knock on the door. The second day, I had a 6:54AM train departure. The desk clerk agreed to call me on my cell phone at 5:45AM and arrange for a taxi at 6:15AM. I awoke on my own at 6:45AM.There was no call and I missed by non stop train to Milan and had to take a train requiring two changes, a new fare, and barely enough time in Milan to catch a plane to Paris. About 7:15AM, the women attending the breakfast arrived and she was helpful to me. The clerk who was supposed to awaken me never appeared. The hotel also is up a rather steep hill and the larger taxi cabs can go only so far as the bottom of the hill.

We spent two nights here and it was great. Hotel staff were friendly with any concerns. the breakfast each morning was amazing with many options. Close to the train station and staff were very discreet. There is tables and chairs to sit outside of an evening with a bottle of the regions wines and enjoy the serenity. Will come back for sure.

Hotel Villa Accini sits a bit uphill but an easy walk from the train station. We arrived on the regional train from La Spezia and, even with our luggage, had an enjoyable walk along the beach sidewalk to Via Molinelli and our hotel. It was early evening and our host was a bit subdued but he warmed up to us during our stay. The rooms were just right. Excellent bath, high ceilings, comfortable bed, and easy walk to the other end of Monterosso. We only had two nights, but would definitely go back for more. A substantial continental breakfast was included with our stay: ham, cheeses, hard-boiled eggs, croissants, pastries, yogurt, cereal, tea, coffee. And for me, a celiac, the hostess brought out an array of gluten-free (packaged) bread and biscuits. It was very considerate

The hotel was nice and in the right location. The welcoming could have been better. Rooms were clean. The road towards the parking area is narrow, but it is possible to park. But I think I would tri to find another hotel next time.

We spent four nights at this hotel. The hotel is located outside the more active area of Monterosso. This place is a mix between a B&B and hotel and the staff was very accommodating and discreet. Our room was of a decent size with a partial ocean view. The grounds are large and attractive, After a day of hiking it was nice to sit outside with a bottle of wine enjoying some down time. For those driving, there is more than adequate parking on the hotel's lawn. Also, the hotel is less than a five minute walk from the train station. The breakfast room is nicely decorated and the buffet was good but lacked a hot dish. If I may, a few comments on the Cinque Terres: The main walking trail between the villages of Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore (part of the Blue Trail) is closed due
