We spent three nights at this location. Nice spot up the hill but be prepared for ball busting walk home each night. However we saw better rooms located near the marina with sea views advertised when we were there- and for less money. Room itself was large. Bed a bit ropey, bathroom needed a facelift and towels were more like...

While you need mountain goat expertise to get to the rooms as this is not a hotel, it's quaint and usable. Beds comfortable. While you don't come to a place like this to stay in your room but as I caught a virus that laid me up for a few day it would of been handy to have an English...

I booked through Expedia. I had the single room across from their office... it was a bit up the hill. Riomaggiore is a nice spot for the hotel. I like the calamari places as you walk back to the hotel. I had room number 7... wifi signal was horrible. I have a iphone and get 0-1 wifi fans.

First let me say that because Locanda Ca' die Duxi is a room broker experiences vary. In our case we did receive a clean room with a comfortable bed and clean sheets. This is not a hotel. It's a collection of rooms around the central part of Riomaggiore. Ours was up the hill and then up four flights of stone...

I stayed here towards the end of March 2014 during what appeared to be low season. I did read some not-so-good reviews prior to ringing ahead to book a room and inspected the room prior to taking it - from memory I stayed in room 4. The room was simple but had everything I needed (I didn’t expect the Hilton)...

Here is a chance to stay in a piece of Cinque Terre history. The building is a maze of rooms and staircases fitted into an old 15th century building. The room we stayed in had lovely wooden beams and was clean and well furnished. Breakfast was fine and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One tip for dinner, come...

Rooms are clean. But hotel staff is very rude and not at all helpful. Room is not cleaned properly everyday. No ine to carry your luggage to your room. Towels are smelly. They charge you even for maps.

This place was my favorite overnight of our trip all across Europe! It is in the center of Riomaggiore in old buildings beautifully redone. It is squeaky clean inside rooms with exposed stone and beamed ceilings--such an awesome experience!! They provide a complimentary European breakfast and buy-one-get-one cocktail tickets at a local bar. We couldn't believe the value for what...

I have to preface this review by saying I re-read the reviews prior to coming and was quite anxious, I booked here because accommodation was reasonable and it was difficult to find availability. I guess I can only comment on my experiences. Service:We arrived around 3 pm. We were greeted by our english speaking host, we knew the wifi code,...

I'm shocked at the negative reviews I'm reading, as we had a lovely stay in our 2 bedroom apartment for one night in November. We had a terrace, modern furniture (rather IKEA-esque), and a great experience with the staff. We arrived without a hotel reservation by car and found that we couldn't park in Riomaggiore without a reservation,so we found...

“It's hard to know how to recommend a room because they broker rooms all over the center of town. Our's was #43 but the number was written on paper and taped to the door. Again, it seems this is the world of room brokering.”
