This is a charming hotel housed on the 3rd floor of a residential building on Via Cairoli (an elevator is available, its tiny but works!). We walked from the train station – it’s a comfortable 10 minutes away along Via Balbi towards Piazza Nunziata. The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot – the historical centre (Via Gribaldi...

Stayed for two nights in August and was really impressed with the value of the hotel. Room was comfortable and we had a door on to the communal balcony. The hotel staff were happy for us to bring beer and snacks back to the hotel which helped save some money and they were very helpful showing us everything there was...

We were only staying in Genoa one night and didn't expect much from our hotel. But the guy who checked us in was so helpful and made greatnsuggestions for places to go and things to do. When we were about to get a Ligurian seafood dinner at a touristy place, he redirected us to Ostaia a Ribotta, where we had...

Cozy hotel at the edge of the old town, ideal to discover the medieval and art nouveau buildings. The staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are normal size, good beds but very small bathroom. Seniors will definitely have issues getting in the shower as will people that are larger than average. The hotel is easily reachable by bus but...

Quite well located, Gaia restaurant around the corner. Also, short walk to main square, railway station and harbour/aquarium! Really friendly and helpful staff made all the difference! You need a key if back after 1 am.

“ sorry to hear your feedback” As you are aware the points you raised were being looked into by the hotel management, most of which were resolved during your stay. I chose this hotel on the basis of other Trip Advisor reviews. And you were all right. Interestingly, this hotel made it into an upmarket food and travel magazine in Australia even though it's not the usual 5 star hotels they cover. So what did I like? Great location - walking distance from the train station, to the harbour and...

My Partner and I spent three nights in this very pleasant economy hotel. We loved the decor and it was spotlessly clean. We also had a very nice breakfast (extra). The owners and staff could not be friendier. They also have a small gym which was handy as I am a gym goer!

A very friendly hotel in central Genove, just a few meters from the UNESCO-protected hostoric buildings. We enjoyed the very friendly welcome, and helpful suggestions on local off-beat eating places. We liked the way the whole hotel including the rooms are done out in contemporary art. The room gave out onto a quiet terrace, a haven from the busy city...
