Finding parking to this hotel was shockingly difficult and parking spaces were tight and cramped. The hotel has a very old vibe and was dirty. My daughter had left the hotel with a rash or bites on her back and after reading about a review on bedbugs we were all very disgusted. The breakfast here was poor in range and...

I read the reviews after booking this hotel and was a little apprehensive, however it was well worth it. Its a traditional hotel with character. Its bedrooms are massive and very clean. Well air conditioned and gave us free breakfast and free parking. Its right across the road from the beach and a nice pool complex. Ideal if your a...

Unlike great wine, an old hotel needs more TLC than has been shown to the Grand Hotel Mediterranee. What a shame! The hotel has great bones and location. Smoke smelling corridors, dodgy paint jobs, noisy rooms.

My wife and I came here for three nights. It was a trip of two halves with business meetings either side of a relaxed weekend. The staff on arrival were really nice and helpful. Our requested room with a sea view and not on the ground floor was everything we had hoped. The room was much larger than modern hotels,...

Great historical building, very very beautiful in its days ( but not now), charming building, good room size, basic, ordinary decorations but very clean rooms and bathrooms. Pretty bad maintained and a little dirty halls and stairs and breakfast place, poor breakfast and many plastic plates and bowls around, bad coffee. A/C is pretty weak on a hot day. It...

stayed 4 days visiting with a friend from genoa, and doing day trips by train to areas nearby. we had quite an enjoyable stay here--all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our rooms were very large, with view of the water across the street-little dated, but immaculately clean and lovely. the wood floors were creaky, but charming. the bathroom...

This is an old hotel on the seafront and you can only imagine how grand it must have been in its day. Today it is a little tired but the rooms are huge and the location is great. I give them a 5 Star rating because we had left our passports in the hotel we had previously stayed in, a...

I stayed at this hotel during a charity event. They catered for several of us arriving late and were helpful. The rooms were a bit basic however for what we needed it was perfect. The bed was comfortable and a nice clean bathroom. We were at the rear of the hotel so overlooked the carpark and out towards the town....

We stayed here last summer with our 2 boys aged 5 and 7. The hotel is aged but it must have been really nice in its day. Unfortunately the old architecture didn't make it easy for them to update electrical wires and fire controls to meet new standards, so some of the routing of the new lines is visible in...
