It was our 48th wedding anniversary, so we and two friends booked a table here. Just as well - midweek and it was full. Lovely atmosphere, not too pretentious. Good service, excellent meal and wine, well presented. Prices sensible. Easy parking (one of our friends drove us there). Lovely area. Exactly what we were aiming for on this special occasion.

My husband and I were camping near-by and decided to treat ourselves to a meal on our last evening. Can't fault this restaurant in any way at all. Food was delicious, reasonably priced and well-presented and the service was impeccable even with the language barrier. We opted for the 4 course meal offer - very good value. Restaurant wasn't very...

Got to this restaurant by Michelin recommendation and was very much disappointed. Food and service at restaurant are total junk. Not testy and not fresh. The worst food experience I had during my trip.

We expected something a bit more charming and were therefore a little disappointed. Our room, whilst, comfortable, was reminiscent of those in a Premier Inn, not geared up for a stay of more than a night or two, with little storage space and tiny bathroom. It was perfectly functional but lacked any charm. The uniformed wait staff in the restaurant...

Our tour group came to this hotel for dinner. Our tour guide brings his groups here whenever he tours the area. Our dinners were very good, with the service supervised by the owners who our guide knows very well. The Gamay wine from the area was very good. Our Cod entrees were very good and the cheese cart service was...

The hotel had just been refurbished and was clean and modern looking inside, though not as much character as some other provincial French hotels. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of shelves to put belongings on. The staff were very friendly and welcoming in the hotel and the restaurant. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant,...

This hotel is a slightly characterless but comfortable place in cour Cheverny, near Chateau de Cheverny. It is a standard mid range French hotel, nothing much to say about it, really. Dinneand breakfast were pretty decent. The most intersting thing about the hotel is its lift, which is a bit weird.

The hotel was fine but my wife wasn't as impressed as I was. Her main complaints were an ultra small bathroom and no shower curtain on the bath which meant the room got wet. Very noisy plumbing. The beds were very comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The room size was very good with plenty of room to...

As another reviewer has said, the kitchen is the main thing here. Our room was large enough, and comfortable - and only 64 euros. Aperitifs and menues are more expensive, but of very good quality and nice touches, like 2 little starters while you wait for your main starter. Everything beautifully presented - it is a popular restaurant, so book...
