The drive in to this site from the South is worth the trip alone - plunging through tunnels and over bridges with glimpses of Maggiore in the sun were superb! When we arrived the site was basically full but the manager found us a powered site and was super helpful despite our late arrival. The views across the lake from...

We stayed here as it was the closest camping to Stresa. It was busy, so it's recommendable to make a reservation upfront. Clean sanitarites, own beach - some sunchairs and parasolls available. Limited space and always - fresher towards the lakeside. Trees can give shadow on hot days.. 😊

We spend about 6 nights in this camping. The ladies at the reception are very nice, but no info was given about there being a beachclub nextdoor giving parties 5 nights a week, or any additional info about the camping. For ex there is a fridge and freezer for public use in the ladies part of the showers. So for...

Dear Guest, thanks for your review. Reviews are always helpful. About the noise, it is true, in the days you stayed, the beach club had some special events. Normally, only in summer time, they are open till 1.30 only on saturday. Readers may think it is a problem of everyday. We also complained to authorities for the situation. We are...

Right by the lake , never more than 30 paces from a swim. The pitches are proper cheek by jowel. Crammed in. If you've got whingeing kids near by, which lets face it, is most likely, you are going to hear them a lot. Still, the location is great. The ferries/boats are a short walk away giving you access to...

This place has one asset: location, you can literally sleep with your feet in the water (though that would be highly uncomfortable!). Bathrooms are clean and though I can't say we had a warm welcome, staff is not rude either. Main issue: we couldn't sleep before 1 am because right next to the camping, there is an open air nightclub/private...

Dear Guest, thanks for your report. We appreciate very much when our guests give us advices. About the noise coming from the beach club, it is fair to explain the readers that this problem has concerned a single saturday for a private celebration (NOT everyday). As you said, at 1 a.m, music has been shut off. No other guest has...

Went there for boating with my family. We had a mobile home which was very clean and well maintained. Everything is close by, so there is no need to use the car. The buoy is easy to reach, so just a short distance to swim. The owners are very helpful and helped us every time, e.g. we needed to speak...

lovely family run campsite. Not the biggest, not many amenities but the site right on the lake makes up for any lack. Staff all very helpful with English spoken. local supermarket within walking distance for shopping. local bars & eateries all great.

stayed here for 4 nights in our Motorhome whilst touring Europe. Great pitches overlooking the lake and Baveno is a great little village. the railway station is nearby which is why we stayed here as we took a train into Milan for the day about €29 left at 8am back for 6pm well worth the stay.

We, 2 couples, stayed in a mobilhome which had 2 bedrooms. The accommodation was very clean and we had things to cook with, which was good. There was a nice deck outside. The camp was fairly full but it was not too noisy. Convenient location - walk to lake, to shops and to some sightseeing places.
