We stayed here on 29 July 2016 after checking the ACSI reviews that were giving it a 8.4 and 4.4 from others. There is no easy access to the lake or any amenities, unless you wish to walk 1 or 2 kilometres!! The bar on site is expensive as it is the only one local. To use the pool you...

This camp site was great for our holiday. The staff at reception and the bar were helpful and couldn't do enough for us. It is a small campsite within walking distance of quiet town of Baveno. There is a swimming pool and baby pool, fridge/freezer facilities and laundry facilities. Pitches are large ours held an 8 man tent! Tips: take...

We stayed here for 3 nights in June 2016 with our camper van and side awning. The pitches were spacious and well kept. The staff were extremely helpful with maps and guides, shower facilities and pool were very clean. We had looked at Parisi camping which was at the side of the lake but opted for the more peaceful up...

We didnt make a reservation but decided to have a look once we arrived. We couldnt believe our eyes when we made a stroll at the campsite and saw that the swimmingpool was closed between 11 am and 3 pm. The walk up the hill was not that easy and you have no acces to the lake.

Tucked away on the hill of Baveno you will find this nice little campsite. We really liked it here. The campspots are shady, we had a tent so this was very nice. The service is nice, they help you very well, speak good English. Also there is a pool, free hot water, and free Wifi. Facilities were quite clean, just...

Lots of Italian children running around making lots of noise until at least 11pm at night. There was no toilet paper in the toilets which is apparently common for the area (you have to take your own). The swimming pool was quite small and you had to buy a swim hat before you could enter the pool. The location was...

Went camping with a large tent. The camping ground is thoroughly maintained with beautiful and large pitches. This is a family owned camping in a great location close to Isola Bella and the other islands. Definitely a place I would recommend in the Lago Maggiore region.

Me and my boyfriend stayed on La Tranquilla for two nights. The guy at the reception (I think it might have been the son of the owner?) was super friendly and walked with us to several places to show them. He also showed us a map of Baveno and told us where to park our car and where the cool...

We came across this lovely camp-site whilst travelling through Italy from the Alps heading to the Mediterranean. Exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful staff made our overnight stay too short. Would make an ideal base for anyone wishing to stay in the area with it's pool, range of accommodation and clean facilities make a very comfortable site. The pool and small...

We spent three nights under canvas at this small, family run camp site near Baveno. Sergio and his team at reception were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and general advice about the area. There is a small bar (the best coffee we had in Italy oddly enough and very passable spritzy local white and red wine by the carafe), a...
