Hi How far is the hotel from the train station please? Thanks
Going to the train station from the hotel its uphill- going to hotel from train station downhill- approx 10 euros for a less than 5 minute taxi ride- but its safer to do that as uneven pavement, at times no sidewalk, many cars are speeding by and its not that safe when your on the road- it is walkable tho- but would not advise walking at night.

When we stayed we did get bitten by mosquitos. As it is very close to lake, there were some. Not a huge problem but I’d recommend repellent. Beautiful place to visit, we enjoyed it

Hi. I took the train. It was into Milan Centrale and then to Stresa. I noticed signs in Stresa for a direct bus but already had my train tickets so never found out about it. The hotel is a 5-7 minute walk from the train station. It is very easy: make an IMMEDIATE left out of the station and walk down the road until you get to the traffice signal. The hotel is on the left across the street. Enjoy!

Walk to town is flat. There is a short inclined section up to the hotel - closest to the ground floor entrance- then a convenient elevator up to reception and rooms.
