I don't think I've ever been treated as rudely as I was from the staff at this hotel. Location was the only good thing about it, and their shuttle to Milan-Malpensa Airport. The hotel manager at the front desk barely looked up when we came in, didn't respond when my husband asked him how he was doing today, and when he discovered that I had booked for the wrong day, did find us a room, but we were charged almost double from the original booking. It was about 45 minutes before check-in time, and I asked if our room was ready. He said, "yes, if you pay 25 euro." Any questions we had during our time there were met with disdain. The only plus was an excellent free breakfast. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and certainly never stay there again.

A 4 star hotel it certainly is not.
The breakfast is not very good but the buffet has the most necessary and the rooms are okay.
It is great that the hotel offers transportation with their shuttle bus that can take guests to and from the nearest metro station San Siro in the morning and evening as long as it is before 10 am and 10 pm. However, they do not bring and pick up when there is football at the station such as on Saturdays.
It must be said, however, that it is easy to use public transportation. Google maps clearly show routes and the tickets can be easily purchased at a metro station for cheap money. Ticket cost 12 euros for 72 hours. The nearest bus station was about 300 meters from the hotel. It therefore takes about 40 minutes to get to the center with the M5 line, where you have to change to the M1 line along the way.
On the day of departure at night we had to take a taxi to the main station which is 13km from the hotel and in the end transport with the Idea Hotel booking was probably more expensive than if we had found a hotel in the center.
The staff were generally sweet and helpful at the hotel.

I recently stayed at a hotel that left much to be desired. The rooms were in a deplorable state, with mold in the shower cabin and a missing side door, a broken toilet seat, cracked glass on the bathroom door, and a phone in the room with damaged keys. The TV offered only Italian channels, and the remote control had seen better days, missing its battery cover, and with faded buttons that made it challenging to navigate. The pervasive smell of cigarettes added to the overall unpleasant experience. In summary, the hotel appeared poorly maintained.

One positive note was that, without my complaint, the hotel addressed some issues on the second day by installing a new part for the shower door and replacing the toilet seat.

By Croatian standards, this hotel would struggle to attain even a two-star rating.

My partner and myself have just checked out of the hotel and we have both said that we will never come back!

Upon arrival we did question if we had come to the correct hotel! The grounds look untidy and unkept, and to be honest resembled something like a prison. (Picture attached)

Inside the hotel the reception and bar area look exactly like the pictures provided by the hotel, very dark! What you may not know is that your £41 a night room is actually £51, if you are parking your car it will take your 1 night stay to £57 each night (for a couple).

Once we got to the room we was a little underwhelmed with how rundown the room was. All of the paint on the walls were chipped, scuffed and had been dropped in the window and skirting board and had not been cleaned. The room itself wasn't very clean, there was something splattered up the walls, dirt on the floor but the bed looked clean.

The bed was very firm, I woke up with a sore back, luckily we was only there for a 1 night stay. The pillows are very thin so you will wake up with a sore neck.

In the morning i used the shower, I use shower loosely as the water dribbled out, i assume the heads are not changed or cleaned regularly. The tap was slightly better as it worked but it still didn't look clean. We also only had 1 bath towel for the 2 of us.

The breakfast. Don't bother waking up early for it. We got there half way through service and had the choice of scrambled eggs, stale bread, 2 cereals and some fruit.

Finally, if you are thinking of going into milan from this hotel make sure you have a car, there is nothing close to the hotel for entertainment or food.

Very disappointed in the hotel.

The hotel staff was rude and not friendly at all. The room smelt very bad like an odor of urine and was dirty. Signs of humidity and mould. There's no way to control the temperature in the room but opening the very rusty window. The security was absent and someone stole even an expensive item from our room. There were several signs that the room was already been intruded and targeted (safe damaged etc...). The parking was very expensive 6 EUR per day without the possibility to park elsewhere nearby. Very low quality overall. Please stay away if you can !

Absolute nightmare! The minibar consisted of 2 bottles of water! I got a room on ground floor which was very humid, the AC randomly stopped working and when I approached reception staff about it they suggested I open a window as AC is disabled now for winter! There was at least 35 C to the point my chocolates melted down from the heat! Gladly when I opened the window it was quite better, but being on ground floor meaning I cannot sleep with opened window as someone might’ve broke in! I was glad I had my whole stay booked out for exploring and doing many activities. Paint coming away from the way, vending machines not working as unable to make payments other than the app that’s not working, shower that’s leaking everywhere leaving bathroom floor flooded after each use. Random stains on the carpet, random noises coming from everywhere, no lightbulbs in the lamps. And the area…for myself who didn’t have a car getting into the city was a pure nightmare especially on a Sunday! To get to city centre you need to get 1 bus and 2 metros! If it’s a Sunday you need to walk 20min to the nearest bus stop, the area is shady and not safe. I tried to stay in the hotel after dark and I advise the especially if you’re there on your own. No kettle in the room so even unable to make a cup of coffee in the morning…not sure who gave the hotel 4 stars but it must’ve been maaaaany years ago. Reception staff was rude and unhelpful. Avoid at all cost!

First day we couldn’t check in because of a black out, the whole stay there was no wifi or service in the room, the breakfast was really poor, there were weird stains on the carpet, no shower curtain so everything was wet after showering it was very slippery and there was a church outside next to the hotel that made s lot of noise. The rooms were so noisy that you could hear everyone’s footsteps, hear their shower, and other things… There is literally nothing in the neighborhood, no small supermarket just 1 small bakery. The centrum was 40 minutes away with the train, the hotel wouldn’t send a shuttle to pick us up from the airport what was very weird, because they did it with everyone else. Last but not least, the fire alarm went off at 6am through the whole hotel, the staff did not know what was happening and no one came out of their room??? The staff was very rude!!! Do not go here

This is the worst hotel I have ever entered. I can advise that after staying for 3 hours, looking at 5 different rooms we decided to leave this awful hotel after managing to book a last minute air bnb. Every room seen was dirty, bedding stained, decor appalling and the hotel smelt.

Upon arrival, the hotel receptionist was rude whilst two others constantly stared. Our booking was for 3 adults & an infant. There was no recognition of the infant until we produced the booking confirmation. A travel cot was brought for the infant, the mattress was stained! We of course returned it.

It has been many years since I’ve had to use a key for a room and we were also given a card to put the electric on. The first room was awful, bedding stained, odd size pillows, bathroom dirty. We immediately asked to be moved. I asked for the manager to be told they were not working on that day.

We were given rooms on another floor, these were just as bad as the first rooms, dirty & smelly with the paint peeling off the walls.

We then asked to be moved to a room shown on the website. We were offered another room, that certainly wasn’t like the room on the website. I will show the pictures as this room had a hole in the wall with the bed positioned so it covered it.

We tried to get a refund but were told this was not possible. We are submitting a formal complaint as this so called 4 star is more likely a 0 star.

Having travelled around the world this hotels advertisement does not reflect the truly dreadful conditions.

This hotel is very modern and nicely furnished, cleaned daily (but not thoroughly, for example it is dirty under the bed). The location is not that bad. The breakfast is delicious, everything you could possibly want). However, I do not recommend ordering food from hotel restaurant or bar, because the food portions are small and not very tasty, not worth the price.

Just awful. Charge you more money at check in, AC doesn’t work, beds have no duvet, our shower door was hanging off the hinge and fell on me while showering. No where near city centre or any metro station. Didn’t tell us til our final day there was a free shuttle to the San siro (nearest metro station) despite when asking for a taxi and saying we were going there. Can’t plug your plugs in by bed without turning the lights on and then they fall out. People hoovering in the hall ways at midnight and making unnecessary noise. Walls are paper thin so you can hear through to other rooms. Unusual stains on the Walls in the room (possibly cum or spit). Lobby toilets have no seats.

Hi - you can make an arrangement with the Hotel to collect you with their complimentary shuttle from San Siro Station - however confirm whether the shuttle is available for the time of your arrival - you might have to wait a while. Happy traveling!

Unsure of what bus/train you need to get from, Bergamo Airport but we got the metro then the bus. You need to get is no 76. This will only gets you so far before you have to walk 1/2 mile under a main road and then past scrub lands! I would suggest using the map on your phone to get there!!! We were told that you could see the hotel from the bus stop but you would have to be 30ft tall for this to be true
