My wife and I found this hotel to be the most pleasant of our multi-city trip.We stayed here at the beginning of our trip, and just prior to our departure three weeks later. It is a short walk from the Milano Centrale train station, yet we experienced no station or street noise in our room. The hotel is modern, very clean and well cared for, had very comfortable beds, and excellent wi-fi. Our room was spacious enough and well appointed.

Breakfast was very good. Given Covid, a hotel staff member would actually fill your plate as you requested. Surprisingly, this process was fast and efficient. It is the only hotel breakfast on our trip that included eggs and bacon (wonderfully crispy fried).

What truly sold us on this hotel, however, was the manager/desk manager. He was a kind and helpful individual that addressed all of our questions, even taking us to the sidewalk on two occasions to point our locations. On our return trip, we had an early flight that necessitated leaving the hotel around 10 PM. When he found that we would only use the room for about eight hours, he gave us a discounted rate without our asking.

When you combine the location, the breakfast, the clean and modern atmosphere, and a wonderful manager, this hotel clearly deserves five stars. I would categorize it as an upscale, mid-range establishment where you get great value for the price. We recommend it enthusiastically!

The 43 Station Hotel in Milan is located a short walk from Milano Centrale Train Station.

With a 24hr reception, you do not need to worry about access or assistance. They also offer an in-house professional laundry service, although this could be pricey if doing more than a couple of items. Great for cleaning or pressing formalwear if attending the opera though.

Rooms and bathroom are spacious with plenty of hanging space, plus a desk and decent sized safe for locking away personal items.

There are a couple of decent restaurants nearby, but it must be said that the location is not the greatest for anything more than easy access to the train or trams.

Strategic location due to near to train station, friendly and 24th front desk available. Surrounding by amenities easy to grab coffee and quick breakfast. Room that we stayed quite under maintenance and dusty even though there is housekeeping daily. No fan n aircon during winter season hence you need to open window while sleeping if not you will felt suffocated. Once open window thus the road noise is very loud do take note if you’re light sleeper. The wall pain is peeling off inside toilet and I discover some insect in the toilet as well. No coffee and water inside the room and you can only refill you water at the water dispenser at ur designated floor. Good for short stay due to all the convenience.

Stayed here for 5 days in total. The rooms advertised online are not the rooms you may receive upon check in. They advertise a glamorous/jungle city theme but we were met with an outdated 70s science lab style room with old flooring, dirty carpet and a dusty bathroom. It appeared one half of the hotel was modern and the other was old, which is not fair to customers paying the same prices. Only one charger port in the old room works with EU adapters, female receptionist was not willing to provide any help with this which we found upsetting as tourists to the area left to solve this problem alone by searching for extension cords and new charger heads. The shower caps/shower gels were not replaced each day. The manager I believe (elderly woman) was quite rude in her enforcement of mask wearing also, once again as tourists to the area it is difficult to know exactly where masks are and are not prohibited as these rulings change frequently, she humiliated us by shouting in front of everyone as we were not wearing face masks that we had left in our rooms and began to block the entrance to the lift and staircase in a bid to halt our return to our room not enforcing social distancing rules. We politely explained our facemasks were all upstairs and we would happily sanitise and cover our faces until then but she was not understanding neither had any masks to spare at reception which was irresponsible of her. The main perk was the location, a 3-5 minute walk from the train station which was great for travel purposes. Overall not the worst, but also not the best stay, next time we visit milan we will choose to stay at another hotel.

The hotel is located 300 meters from the central station. However we took some time locating the hotel on arrival. Hotel website indicated direction from 'exit'. However there were many exits. When arriving by train, proceed to Terminal Bus Malpensa Exit, turn right and cross the street. Hotel is few hundreds meters only.

The hotel is quite new and very clean. It's a small boutique hotel with approx 6 rooms per floor only. Water dispenser with hot to cold water is provided on each floor. There's a nostalgic cafe next door serving good breakfast set of cappuccino and croissant for 2.5 euros only. The plain croissant is excellent!.

Overall this hotel is strongly recommended if you are visiting Milan!

We stayed two nights and three days in this hotel and our group occupied two rooms.

Location is very near the Milan Centrale
Station. Which is very handy especially if you are using the airport bus from Bergamo because it stops there.

Many restaurant/bar around the area. A small mini shop near the hotel. And a beautiful church as well.

The hotel is very clean. The bed sheets and towels were changed everyday of our stay. There is a water dispenser in every floor. And if any amenities is missing or if you need them, you can always ask from the reception.

The staff are courteous and helpful.

Breakfast was included in our rates, and it is a good value. But if you have to pay extra €9.00/breakfast, maybe you are better off having breakfast outside of the hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t mind staying here again if ever I come back and visit Milan.

I just wish that they would have a proper triple single bed. Not one double and single bed for a triple room.

Having read all the reviews about this hotel being good was no exaggeration. I needed a 1 night stop over travelling from Paris to Naples which was close to Milano Central to take account of my late arrival( train 3 hours late !) (But reception is open 24 hrs anyway) and an early start the following day.

It did a great job in all respects

It was literally 5 minutes walk from the station and I had such a warm welcome after a long day.I had to show my vaccination cert and wearing a mask is definitely a requirement as the hotel takes its covid protection arrangements very seriously. The room was ideal with a very comfortable bed and plenty of room with a lovely walk in shower part of a well kept and very clean bathroom.

I asked for a wake up call which was delivered exactly on time and I went to the first floor for my breakfast at 7am which was its opening time.A lovely selection including hot and cold food was served to guests by the staff in a very unobtrusive and friendly manner- I made the mistake of trying to help myself to another croissant and was politely reminded that whatever you want will be handed to you-as I say they take their covid measures seriously and it was good to see.

I rate this hotel very highly

We booked this hotel do to the overwhelmingly good reviews. It's located close to the Milan train station and metro lines which was practical for us however the area around the hotel and the train station seemed questionable and I didn't feel comfortable out in the evening.
The room is basic. No USB plugs on the side of the bed, only 1 chair, no coffee or tea maker.
Something that drove me crazy was that the shower does not have any door so unless you are really careful your whole bathroom floor will be wet.
Something that drove me spouse crazy was the toilet door is made of a thin colored acrylic material with a large hole as a door handle. It is not sound proof at all and if you are "visible" while on the toilet from that 5 or 6 inch door hole used for the handle.
The mattress was very springy if you are into that sort of thing, we are not.
The hotel did seem well kept. The staff was friendly and both check in and out were easy.
Breakfast was very basic eggs, bacon, pastries, coffees and juices.
I would recommend this hotel if you have a 1 night stop over however if you are spending more time in Milan I would look elsewhere so that you are more comfortable.

We decided to choose 43 station as it was very close to milan centrale and we were very happy upon reaching the hotel only to realize we made the best choice. This hotel had very friendly staff who helped us with the best they could with all our requests. The room was very neat and clean but the view wasn't so great from our room. Breakfast had limited options but we enjoyed it.
We wanted to visit duomo which got really easier with the train station being right in-front of the hotel ( 2 mins walk). We also travelled to Venice the next day from the same station and we were very happy with the convenience in traveling by staying so close to the station. There area few restaurants and supermarkets right under and around the hotel too which made our stay here very comfortable in all aspects.

We paid a bit extra to secure a booking in the renovated part of the hotel, and we were not disappointed. First of all, the hotel reception was new and everything seemed super clean. The staff was super nice and friendly. Also, one evening I realised that I had left my mask upstairs and I was about to go back and get it, but the man at the reception spared me the trip as he gave me one of their masks - small things that go a long way. Our double bedroom (413) was a bit on the small side incl. the bathroom but very clean and quiet so overall we were very happy with it. Location wise, the hotel was perfect for us as near the main train station, trams and metro! We would definitely go back :)

Before 6pm they charge half day. After 6pm is considered full day. I arrived at 9am. My room wasn't ready till 10am. Left my luggage there and went out. Everything was good. Am surprised about stolen items. FYI, I locked my luggage.

All airport shuttle buses and train will end at Milan Central Station. Once you get off the bus, the hotel is about 10 minutes walk (with luggage). Take a right turn, walk straight. You will pass an Asian grocery shop. Cross the road at traffic light junction, turn right and straight ahead is the hotel. Note: The Asian Grocery shop is on your right, there's a small little "green park" to your left You won't miss it. FYI, their bottled water is the cheapest compared to other shops and cafes for the same brand. The non refrigerated ones are even cheaper for the 1litre bottle. I was there from 30 Aug to 2 Sept. Been quite a while. Hope my memory hadn't failed me.
