This review is not aimed at hotel staff (since I doubt anyone would be ever bothered to make any improvements) but rather at other travellers in order to warn them against this complete waste of money. The hotel used to be beautiful and luxurious probably many years ago, but classical style roms and beautiful hallways (nicely decorated for Christmas as...

5 star hotel and Oswaldo is the penultimate concierge. He went over and above board arranging our day trip to Lake Como from purchasing our tickets / what ferries to catch and what towns to hit to make the most of the day. Both my husband and I travel often and we've never met another Concierge of Oswaldo's caliber. Highlights...

The Principe is a beautiful hotel, and if you enjoy feeling as if someone is trying to drown you with marble and glitz, then you will enjoy this place very much. We had a few issues trying to regulate the room temperature, but the staff were on top of it, and took care of the issues quickly and happily. We...

Wonderful luxury and service. Stayed 2 nights in a twin room with a friend for New Years Eve. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Concierge provided excellent advice. They also provide a free limousine service for guests at set times into the city centre. Excellent breakfast. Very pricey hotel but it is justified.

The hotel is located right outside Republicca station. It is about 15-20 mins walk away from the centre where the duomo is so not really far at all. They do offer a complimentary limo service that runs every ten minutes and this is definitely quite convenient. The room itself is really nice, the interior is very classic. The room itself...

It starts with an easy and professional check in. The room is lovely. The concierge Oswaldo is the best!! Location great. Pricey drinks and food. Neighborhood is business district 15 minute walk from train station. Upscale business class hotel. Best "free" hotel spa I've ever experienced. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had an unforgettable pre-Xmas weekend: the check-in and out were effortless, staff always with a smile! The room (a mosaic room) very spacious and elegantly decorated. Very stylish bathroom with Aqua di Parma toiletries. We particularly enjoyed the cocktails and the atmosphere at the bar. Allthough the hotel is just a 20 minutes leasury stroll away form the Duomo,...

Had a beautiful experience in Hotel Principe Di Savoia. Opulent suite with huge marble bathroom, luxury bath products, loved champagne and strawberries on arrival. Majestic and classic hotel, treated like royalty especially at dinner at Acanto and breakfast. The limousine service was brilliant too! Bed was super comfortable too. Best Christmas experience with the Christmas package, felt spoilt. Spa, sauna...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
