Our main grip is they do not turn the aircon in the rooms, their attitude is to open the window, which is obviously std as the large window has a switch which opens it 6 inches at the top.
Our room at night we are sweltering at 27.4 degrees, every night. To be awoken each morning with jack hammers as they are rebuilding the pool, as we had to have our window open all the time to get some relief from the heat.

That's why we will never stay at another IH hotel, they put profit over guests comfort.

The rooms are std, bathroom compact,

Bed very comfortable.

Very clean

They supply toiletries but do not replenish, we had to ask reception for more shower gel they were extremely helpful.

The mini fridge has a selection of goods/ drinks with price list.

The reception staff are very friendly & helpful with the exception of 1 young man who could see my wife standing at the bar near reception offered no help, after 5 minutes a young lady came from the restaurant/ breakfast area to help.

They do have plenty of underground parking at 10 euro per night, every were else we are staying over 3 months in Italy offer it for free. Found this disappointing

The breakfast is nice, plenty of fresh & canned fruit , also whole fruit, yoghurt & cereal, unfortunately the use generic coco pops & corn flakes, not nice.

Breads, cheese meats tomato, gherkins, sometimes lettuce. Boiled eggs sometimes, cold Oily belly bacon, chopped mini Frankfurt's & scrambled eggs, sometime hot/ cold.

Juice tea & coffee & a toaster, Jams etc etc.

Location poor but we needed parking.

Tram line 220 mtrs away 30 minute ride to city center Line 14 Duomo M1 M3 stop.
We advised that our toilet seat was broken (on our first day) sliding. Apologized but as this is our third night still not resolved. There are two lifts to the rooms however one out of order for our whole stay. Down in reception there is a lovely advertising banner in front of lift. Found this very frustrating as numerous times especially in the morning as people were checking out and other guests going to breakfast lifts were full.
We feel this motel is more about saving money then looking after their paying clientele.

This is clearly not a tourist hotel, located convenient to a number of company offices at the edge of Milan proper and in Corsico. The room and the bathroom were clean, although the linens and towels had a bit worn appearance. The room I was given was spacious since originally it had 2 double beds, but only one was remaining (2nd headboard was still in place). The WiFi in the room was inconsistent, as the local access point seemingly was going down and up. Overall you get a bit of feel that the property has been lacking in care, which given Covid situation is not surprising. Overall it is well deserving of 4* rating, but not more.

So we went to Milan to watch the football at San Siro stadum and this hotel was perfect for the price.
It is in an industrial location however there are resturants close should need to find somewhere to eat or have a drink. It is easy to get around and to get into Milan by using the buses and tram and all you need to do is download the ATM to get a ticket and it will work out how to get to where you need to be.
Hotel is modern and very clean.
Brewakfast was nice with selection of cold meats, cheese, bread, eggs, bacon, cereals, pastries and fruit.
For the price I was impressed and would definitely stay here again if I visted again.

We stayed for two nights. Man on reception was rude and unwelcoming when we arrived. He did not greet us and if we had not repaid for our stay I would have left. We asked for later checkout of 2/3 hours and was quoted €100. Only reason we chose this hotel is so kids could have some time at the pool. The night before we wanted to use the pool we asked inquired at reception and was told relevant information. However the following morning when we went to use the pool there was a sign to say the pool was closed due to maintenance.

Only thing good about the hotel is the breakfast but I recommend they do time slots as it can get very busy and the breakfast buffet area is fairly small.

IH hotels Milano Lorenteggio has met my expectations - it's modern, neat and quiet. I liked the subtle service which was always around but seemed to be invisible. You can get a delicious breakfast there. The hotel is far from the city centre but there are city bus and tram stops nearby.

Lovely clean and spacious hotel. Very much enjoyed our one night stay. The breakfast was delicious, comfy beds and polite staff. Good links to transport. Only recommendation is to turn the aircon on for people from the UK because 20 degrees in Milan is our UK summer haha.

This is an ideal hotel for the business traveler although with the great service and information the staff provide the leisure traveler will quickly find his way around Milan with the public transport close at hand/within reach.
We found the rooms quite spacious with tea and coffee facilities (not normal in Italy) and free wi fi.
The food (breakfast) was good though language (English) still seems to be a problem in getting your eggs the way you like it.

There is a lovely little restaurant across the street for dinner if you prefer but the Hotel's prices are very competitive.

A great hotel with excellent service.

Stay Away From this Hotel. Had a very horrible experience at this hotel.
Night staff is rude. He controls the temperature for all rooms. All 3 nights we stayed , they kept making the rooms hot. I had to go in the middle of night to request him. He has a bad attitude. I think he was doing it on purpose to us.
On the last day, we had a purse stolen in the breakfast area. Kitchen staff and the reception staff were least bothered. They didn’t even bother to help or look around. It seemed like we were targeted on purpose. It has to be the Staff in the breakfast area. Stay away from this old and bad hotel. PERIOD.
Note: I doubt that any of the staff or the IH Hotel management will dare to comment on this review, ‘ coz this is the truth and it really happened to us!

Stayed overnight as we were a tour group heading for Rome from Zurich.

The Hotel was clean. Check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast was served ahead of schedule and we appreciated the gesture as we had to be ready for our early tour.

Our room was clean and cozy with fast internet.

Response from Sara R, Responsabile reception at iH Hotels Milano Lorenteggio
Responded 1 Sept 2019
Dear Mr Amir, thank you for the time spending to review our hotel. I would like to remeber that is forbidden to take food or beverage from outside, but we often ignore it for our beloved customers. If you had bought the wine in our restaurant it would have been a pleasure to open the bottle, but since it was not so it seems to me normally to ask you to pay for the room service, all around the world it works like that. Thank you again and have a good day! Best regards, Loredana
