I chose this hotel because of its position to the place of the meeting I had to attend. The breakfast is delicious and with a lot of options, the staff is friendly and willing to help whenever needed.

This hotel is nothing too special but it is close to the train station. The rooms are a bit outdated and in need of help. The breakfast is decent but one morning the workers seemed to be in a bad mood and saying things under their breath with the occasional curse word. This extended to the morning when I checked... We booked this hotel through Groupon, when we arrived there was a oldish guy on reception who was ok but not overly friendly, he gave us our room key and we made are way up to it on a very dodgy lift, when we got to the room we noticed the floor was wet, but at first we thought the... More

Good location and nice room the only problem is weak internet which is slow and requires you to input user name and password every time, even if you only stop using your device for a couple of minutes

I was apprehensive after reading some of the nightmare reviews. As a solo traveler just looking for a place to hang my hat at night, I found Mennini to be adequate. Nothing lavish, but my room is clean, the AC works (ten euro deposit on AC remote. Lol-the guy said people keep stealing them??) and the staff seemed pleasant enough... More

Hotel was very close to central station and the staff were friendly. The only setback was the noise from the next room bathroom. Everytime neighbour flushed, turned on water tap or had a shower, we could hear loud noises of water running especially at night.

I choose the place for it's proximity to the Central Station. Staff friendly and always available. They helped me a lot when I needed to re-print some forgotten documents sent by mail. Good and easy WiFi. Modern and powerful AC. The room was corresponding to the description on Booking. Double glazed windows, so no trouble from outside noises. Large bathroom... More

Good hotel in a busy hotel district within a 10 minute walk from the central station. Lots of restaurants close by. Great breakfast and neat rooms with dated decor. Staff were very helpful. Great for a short stay. Tip:Get directions as to how to locate the hotel from the central station, it took us some looking to find it.

We planned to stay 1 night in this hotel some time ago. In the booking confirmation it was written that the room had air conditionning. When we arrived at 1.00 a.m. we were given a room where l'airco was't working and the temperature in the room was +34! I asked the receptionist to give us another room but he replied... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
