Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great moderate hotel. Very Clean. Beds were very comfortable. Front desk very warm and helpful. Internet was great. Close to central station ( 15mins walk ) but a little far from the Duomo Center ( 30mins walk ). For budget friendly, I would definately recommend.

Hotel's Favourite
Ibis Milano Centro is an excellent hotel to stay while in Milan -it's located not far from the train station, and also with a Metro Station located not very far. The hotel offers comfortable rooms, a very good continental breakfast, a car-park (to pay extra - 30Eur daily), but most of all friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. The hotel has also a very good restaurant. Definitely recommended

Stayed here with 8 friends for a belated 50th birthday bash . Rooms clean , beds comfortable, but you only get 1 spare pillow, which i find weird for a double room . had a broken toilet in a room that was refilling all night , we never noticed till after 4am when we got in 😉. Reported to reception & fixed by time we got back to hotel the next day . I think breakfast would do more if it was on till 11 am on weekends. On day 1, we got down just before 10 am . Paid for the breakfast & wasn't informed at the desk the canteen was closing . grabbed a coffee. Sat down had a drink . Got up and grabbed a couple of pastries before hitting the hot buffet. Get to the hot buffet & everything was stone cold . They switched the lot at 10 am as we walked in . So my £12 breakfast consisted of a coffee & a pastry .I tried the ham & and cheese, but they were warm, so I left it as I didn't fancy a day on the toilet . Learned from my experience and got down for 9 am the next day . This time, the hot food could be sampled, but to be honest, it didn't look good . It was runny & still cold scrambled egg . Fat cold hot dog sausages, cherry tomatoes. So left it & sampled the meat & cheese with a bit of bread again with a pastry as they were nice .Food can be hit & miss any hotel , Overall experience a decent hotel & would stay again .

We just got back after a 3 night stay here rooms are lovely but they don’t come with a fridge … bathroom is nice a good shower staff are friendly we found the location was ok about a 15 minute walk to the square but has a good choice of restaurants near the hotel and shops. We was annoyed that we got a room right above the smoking area as we was kept awake most nights because of the drunk idiots staying up all night. But apart from that had a great stay.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! I had booked and paid in FULL and when me and my friend showed up last week they had said it had been cancelled when in fact it had not been , we waited and argued for 4 hours with reception and managers and still they did not want to help or accommodate us after me paying full price! so we had to look for a last minute hotel else where on New Year’s Eve! still havnt got a refund from this hotel! do not recommend

the location is just perfect the gym is very ok but mostly the people working there are so kind, professional, gentle, trying their best to help you. Especially the front office staff is so really nice. They are always answering with a smile and even if they are so busy, they never lose their gentleness

My recent group booking at Ibis Milano Centro in November turned out to be a communication nightmare with the reservation department. Despite multiple emails and calls, the lack of responsiveness persisted. Shockingly, there was no contact information for the management team, leaving guests without a formal complaint channel. Upon arrival, inaccuracies in the documentation were apparent. The supposedly quiet courtyard was noisy, breakfast disappointing, and the room, though clean, showed signs of wear. Adding to the frustration, the reception refused to connect guests with the manager on duty or assistant manager, claiming there were no managers available. This lack of transparency and uncooperative attitude further soured the overall experience.

I checked in yesterday around 4-4.30pm. Since I had to fill up and sign the forms, I promptly left my duty free shopping bag on the counter. I proceeded to go to my room and forgot about my presents. When I went back, the staff said she did not see it. I asked other staff to help by looking at their cctv but they say I have to make a police report before they can view the recording. I do not want to involve the police. I just want to know who took it. The staff? Other guests? I had a similar experience in London but they ran after me to send me my forgotten things but then it was not an Ibis hotel. I really have a bad perception of this Ibis.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. The staff is not welcoming and the breakfast is very insufficient for the high price (lack of hot beverages, not enough seats sometimes…) The hotel is very poorly insulated and the tram noisy goes by all night long, making it very difficult to sleep. Housekeeping is OK but you have to fight to have the correct number of towels and soap. The wifi is unstable which is quite unfortunate when having work obligations and email to send… A disappointing stay overall.
