The hotel is located in a good location, a little outside the city center, but with excellent connections. Breakfast was varied, but bacon was missing 🙄
The rooms are modern, but reasonably cozy. The service was nice and knowledgeable without being too intrusive.

Dear Kaveri, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you appreciated our convenient location and the excellent connections to the city center. It's also great to know that you found our rooms to be modern and cozy, and that our team provided friendly and knowledgeable service without being intrusive. We always strive to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. However, regarding the breakfast, we apologize if the absence of bacon did not meet your expectations. We offer a varied continental buffet, and we will take your feedback into consideration. We hope that the rest of our breakfast selection was to your liking. All of the team hope that we may be able to see you again in the future. Kindest regards, Elisa Zamunaro, Guest Experience Manager

My best friend and I stayed here the first week of January. We liked that the Lotto Metro stop is just a couple of blocks walk and in the same area, there’s a bus that can take you to the airport for about €7 vs. a pricier Uber. We reserved a Level room which we loved because of the Level lounge and the breakfast included. For the first two days we had breakfast at the Level lounge only but for the next two days we had breakfast in the main dining area which was excellent. We especially liked their croissants and the fruits with simple syrup. The room we booked was very clean and spacious. The only I had was with the Rituals products as the fragrance was too strong and I have sensitive skin. Otherwise I liked that the bathroom also had a towel warmer rack, robes and big bath towels. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Milan!

Melia Milan has a beautiful lobby hotel is pretty modern and definitely good potential staff is outstanding and well mannered .I had a level room but too be honest pay much more and really not worth, rooms was a rectangular box and the Tv is placed facing the wall on a small couch you can hardly see from the bed. food would stay in the hallway for the entire night and morning no one would pick it up. The spa is totally pathetic need a renovation and although they include as perk if you book a level room they keep saying that is busy and need to be booked in advance twice i insisted and started screaming if they wouldn't let me in and finally there was no one in there... what kind of service is to demand to book in advance what simply is a dry sauna in a changing room ? and regardless is so old, small and not too clean really a disgrace for this kind of hotel.

As a long term Meliá member, I already stayed in this hotel twice in the past 15 years. The hotel has been partly refurbished and now offers too many different styles, a mix of old and new and it seems the result is worse than expected.

Although The Level room is large, nice and refurbished, it lacks of a decent wardrobe, the walls are full of mirrors and the bathroom is an original 1990s style, which would be ok if it blended with the whole area, but it doesn't. There were absolutely no amenities in the bathroom, although we ask for them especially before arrival.
The housekeeping is just OK and I experienced some minor technical problems during my stay, which were solved within an hour.
The Level lounge is a cosy place to relax but the selection of food and snack is ridiculously insufficient and nonexistent between 11am and 7pm. After that, and until 9pm they serve cold micro snacks which are not stocked again when are gone and some cheese and ham. All in all, deficient especially when you pay so much more for a Level experience.
The breakfast was the same every day but they did provide some extra for people with special needs (gluten or lactose free...)
The staff were all very good, everyone was welcoming and doing their best to accommodate the guests.
Good and attentive service during breakfast and throughout the day in the lounge and around the hotel, bad service from the man who walked afternoons in the Lounge. He didn't listen, was lost in space and had to be reminded several times for different things.
It is a busy congress&meetings hotel where you can never relax in piece, thus the rates are rather high during the whole year.

I don't mind the area a little off city centre, as there are 2 metro lines next door and you can reach Tre Torre shopping in 5min and historic centre in 20.

In my opinion this hotel is not 5* but 4* only.
Five star hotels provide turn down service, excellent customer care, a spa and maybe a pool, jacuzzi, more sophisticated ambience and more attention to detail and design. Also more dinning optins.

Milan is really a beautiful and interesting place to visit. In the past years has developed into much nicer, cleaner and environment friendly metropolis. Well worth a visit although the prices high!

Dear Mr Ludwig, thank you for your review. We are glad to know that you are a long term Melia member and you have stayed here other times. We would like to let you know that we have sent your comment to our Direction Department in order to fix this mixture of styles you make evident to us. As for your considerations: in our bathroom there are our amenities ( glasses, shampoo, conditioner and lotion); as regards instead of the service and food in the The Level Lounge: or buffet has been changed in order to follow Covid-19 rules. Therefore it has single doses food and during the Aperitivo time the food must be served by our personnel. Our hotel, as you underline us, is set within a short walking distance from the underground station and from City Life shopping centre in Tre Torri. We are sorry to hear that you consider us a 4-star hotel, due to your report regarding the spa, unfortunately we no longer have it but there is a gym open 24 hours per day. We hope to see you again here in Melia Milano as our guest. Francesca Guest-Experience Department

What a amazing experience in a very special place! If you are planning a trip to Milan please don’t think twice and book this hotel! I travel often and don’t always feel the need to write reviews but this place deserves the recognition! Researching Milan on a first time visit we almost did not book this hotel thinking it was “too Americanized “ or too far from the center. None of this is true. It’s a 5 minute car ride $8 and they have a courtesy car. I am so happy that we chose this hotel. First our flight was delayed. We called the hotel and our driver was there within 20 minutes! Then from the moment we arrived we had nothing but excellent experiences with every single staff member of this hotel. Martina and Elizabetta checked us in and escorted us to our room. They gave us many recommendations and explained all the features of the room like the panel on the wall for the lights and climate. Also as a Meliá member you have wonderful amenities such as an item of clothes steamed every day and a bottle of champagne in the room on arrival. We also had a cocktail experience on the rooftop bar which was excellent! The Bartender even came over to check if we liked the drink and made us specific cocktails to our liking after asking us some questions ! Breakfast was excellent on the rooftop it included pastries , eggs . A variety of cheeses and hams and of course delicious cappuccinos and Nutella cornettos! There was also a courtesy car to take you from the hotel to the square and the duomo! In the rain the driver even pulled close to the awning so we wouldn’t get wet. Antony the concierge was great! Very patient and gave us many recommendations for good meals. He made many calls for us since it was ferragosto the time in August where most places in Italy are closed. All in all this is a no brainer. I am so happy we stayed there and it made our first Milan experience an incredible one! Thank you to this wonderful establishment that made us feel welcome and safe! I can’t wait to return to the Me Milan!

Canadian seniors couple attending event at MiCo + 3 days vacation.
Hotel offers most convenient location, excellent facilities, attentive and very nice international staff, very good food. Overall: very good value for the money. Transfer from/to MXP was arranged by front desk : flawless and cost was comparable with cabs - choose comfort, use it.
Hint: book directly on their website, best prices for rooms AND 15% discount on food at Hotel. A compelling offer.
Standard of service was really superior. For example, found desk light to be somewhat insufficient too "soft", called front desk and technician changed bulb in 10 minutes. Impressive.
To place location in context: cab to Piazza Duomo is 15-20 USD, city cabs are fast clean and efficient (do not use uber, use Milano's white cabs instead - Metro is cheaper but not as safe).
Overall: great experience at Melia Milano

Great location (2 mins walk to Lotto station)
Staff very helpful and professional
Lobby interior and wider decor very impressive - feels like 5 star quality
Good sized rooms
On site gym
The premium 'Level' lounge was our personal favorite part of the experience at the hotel.
Giulia in the Guest Experience team also deserves massive recognition. Some initial issues we had flagged to reception around outside noise were immediately resolved but she also went above and beyond by providing a level of customer service, warmth and genuine care which I had not experienced in any of my previous hotel stays. As a seasoned traveller, I was highly appreciative of the added personal touches (e.g a note and some chocolates were left in our room on our last day as an unexpected gesture and Giulia was always there on hand in case we needed any further assistance) which made my partner and I feel valued as guests and made our stay at Melia Milano that even more special.

They have powdered instant coffee in the rooms. I really could stop there. This is Italy, after all. Even the Marriott has a coffee maker.

The hotel is nice enough, if you can figure out the obtuse lighting panels on either side of the bed. I kept turning out the bathroom light while my wife was in there. And none of the lights have actual switches. You have to figure out the touch screens that say things like "day" and "master" and "night."

Most places, when there is an issue with water pressure, it is because there is too little. It is the opposite here. Every time I turned on the faucet in the bathroom sink, it hit the bottom of the sink so hard and plentiful that it would splash all over my pants, shirt, the floor, and the sink. The bidet is no different, only it shoots across the bathroom.

The restaurant is good but on Friday night it was like a third grade fire drill, in the dark, with the doors locked. The servers were like too put-upon and confused and would tell you so, as you waited ten minutes to be seated, or when you ordered your beer and watched the bartender then serve four people who came in later, only because he forgot you and your order.

There is no parking. You are on your own in that regard, thought he website says "parking nearby." There is a pay lot up the street. But really, you are on your own.

I liked the front desk staff, though. They are helpful and pleasant. And the lobby is beautiful.

Oh, and there is no bureau in the room. If you are here for a week and bring your clothes, you have to keep them in the suitcase. Many hotels are like that now and it is not good.

Kind GeraldWW2, Greetings from Melia Milano! We thank you for your feedback. We would like to inform you that not all our rooms have a coffee machine, only the high category room. Regarding the wardrobe, all our rooms has it, to make our guests' stay comfortable. We are really sorry to learn that our domotic systems of the room has not been appreciated by you and considered as obtuse, as it is very appreciated. The hotel does not have private parking, just as reported "parking nearby", but we have an agreement with parking for our guests. We are very happy to know that the reception staff has been appreciated and also our structure. We hope to welcome you back again. Kind regards

I am happy to stay here again after four months.
The staff were all very professional and doing their best to accommodate me, the room I was assigned was the same as the last time and I enjoyed it a lot. I can overlook some minor details that still haven't been repaired yet, as all the rest was excellent.
It was my first time enjoying an excellent breakfast in restaurant due to temporary The Level lounge closure. Even the waitress remembered me. Everything was first class! The snacks and drinks were provided in Elixyr bar instead and the cook took great effort in preparing my special need's tapas.
All my expectations were met, my requests accomplished and I felt welcomed at all times.

Thank you to all staff envolved. It was 4.5* ezperience. However, because of their committment to delivering excellent service I think I can award them with 5*.

Only a few hotels deserve 5* and in special occasions. I hope they will surprise in the future during my next stay.

I stayed as a part of conference (it was part of the package), despite that the room charge seemed to be towards the higher end (well the only “extra” was that the breakfast was included). Room as well equipped, clean. I like the fact it had a small balcony where I can enjoy my morning or afternoon coffee and snack. Service was good, professional. They also have a gym - but it is pretty small with very basic stuff. I only used it ones, as I rather went out for some running.
Breakfast was meeting expectations, in fact I would rate it above average, they also have a chef making you eggs to order.

There is a large public parking facility next door - not associated with the hotel. Like I said in my review, I found blue line parking spots right across the street. It's cheaper. I prefer to spend my money on dinner vs parking. 😊. The staff is extremely helpful in explaining where you can park. Hope this helps. Best, Dan
