Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

I stayed in Club Hotel for two nights ant it was quite frankly a disappointing experience. Starting from the reception, there was a line of several guests waiting to check in the rooms they reserved due to the anxiety and inefficiency of the receptionist, which was finding an inexistent fault at every guest's reservation. Finally, after a 45-minute wait, I was attended by the receptionist in a borderline rude manner. Apart from that, the rooms are quite small with little space to move in, and quite old. I had a room with a tiny bathroom, but it was clean and served its purpose. The hotel is old and definitely would benefit from some renovations, but it is quite well located near Milano Centrale train station, In short, I would not recommend a stay at this hotel, neither for leisure nor for a business trip to Milan.

I only spent one night and less than twelve hours in total at this property as I just needed somewhere to stay relatively close to the Milano Porta Garibaldi station for an onward journey. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the station and as the trams/buses take about the same length of time, it's relatively convenient for the trains. It's an older property without many mod cons. My room was tiny and definitely a single, with a single bed and no room to move. There was a battered old desk and chair, but nothing else. Linens were clean and fresh, but the bed cover was ancient. The room was relatively warm, but there was nowhere to control the heating. The bathroom was also small, but the shower was at least designed for a single adult. There was a low grade shampoo and soap provided and a dusty old hairdryer. The towels were a bit shabby, but clean. There was WIFI but there are so many connection points available, it took time to work out which one was giving the most reliable signal. I had breakfast, which was certainly plentiful. Pastries, breads, yogurt, cheeses, meats, eggs, coffee, tea, juice, fruit, cereal. Everything you'd expect. I just wasn't here long enough to form a more positive (or negative) experience. It was a place to crash in between long train journeys and was fine for that. I don't think I'd have chosen the location had I been intending to explore Milan.

Rooms provide you with a lot of redundancy even for a single night: two toilet paper rolls, two pillows, another blanket, etc... Also for only +4€ you can get a nice breakfast ☕🥐 The only two bad things I have encountered are the shower 🚿 and the WiFi 📶 Like the shower is bad, the shower curtain is bad quality and the shower head is ugly to use too, and water temperature was slightly unstable. Free WiFi plainly didn't work or has very very low speed and using 4G is just better. Just don't offer free WiFi if it will not work anyway so less negative reviews! I would say that besides the shower it has been a nice experience. Just replace the showers and fix the WiFi and this hotel can get max vote for me. Last thing to say is that my room was a bit noisy, but that's the street in the front's fault, you can't really blame the hotel. So considering the not so bad price with breakfast included and the shower bad experience I will give this place 4 stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff is friendly and helpful and speak English well. The rooms have blinds that make them dark during night. The location is near the main railway station and the places where shuttle busses from the three airports arrive and depart. Good beds and heating system. I recommend it.

We didn’t get off to a great start... the receptionist didn’t seem like he could find our booking, and I started to get worried. He took our passports, gave us our key and told us when breakfast was. We weren’t given a city map... or the WiFi code. I had to go back down later and ask for this. There were 2 of us and our room had four beds, there was no room to move between the beds so when you get up for the bathroom in the night you have to shuffle down the bed. There was no welcome pack in the room, the mini fridge was empty, there wasn’t even any water. Breakfast was... odd. There was no toaster, the fruit provided was clearly fruit cocktail out of a tin. The croissants weren’t labelled so it wasn’t easy to tell what was plain and what had something in it. However it was a place to sleep, and the beds were comfy. It’s close to the central train station and also close to another metro station. It’s definitely a hotel that’s better suited if you’re on a business trip, not a tourist.

Receptionist was unfriendly, did not seem to care about customers in the slightest. DENIED entry to my guest to visit my room without passport(?) No reason given as to why. Had the booking been refundable, I would have instantly cancelled the booking. Bathing area is extremely small, bed is okay, room relatively clean, no kettle available. All in all, if you would like your trip ruined by a receptionist go ahead and book this hotel. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

They operate a luggage storage business out of a coffee table in the lobby. Paid for this service and asked to use the restroom. Rude front desk agent said it was only for hotel guests. If you’re running a business (hopefully a legitimate one at that) and it runs out of your property, where you also store baggage in your hotel rooms, you really should respect the customers paying for a service out of your hotel whether they stay there the night or not. Also ugly interior, dusty, and unhygienic.

We were in a hurry to pick a hotel to stay at for 5 nights and this was the choice we made. The room had everything necessary, but felt empty and there were broken or worn down elements. Like the curtains, which were in the way when we needed to open the window and therefore had already holes in them when we got the room. Also, when I wanted to drink tap water, I was surprised to see, that there was no cold water. Only really hot (too hot to wash your hands even) water came from the tap. When we called to the reception, they said “oh, no worries, you just have to let it run for 5-6 minutes”. I do not even leave my water running when I brush my teeth or shampoo my hair. And they have thousands of visitors there who have to leave the water running for 5-6 minutes every time they want to have colder than extremely hot water. Not good for the environment. What I liked about the hotel was their staff. Both the receptionists and the cleaning personell were polite and friendly. There was also a beautiful view from the window (on the picture). But I would not book this hotel again.
