Booked this through Expedia. The hotel is very close to the Statzione Centrale, in a quiet street and the staff are friendly and helpful. That's about it for the good. As for the rest, our room was small, the bathroom was tiny, and the wallpaper peeling in places. It was clean, but the bathroom had mildew and was a bit...

Stayed here for 1 night for my birthday. Room was clean, comfortable and had everything you would need. Close to the metro and central station. Shop opposite is handy and well priced. Staff let us leave our bags when checking out before our flight home. Very happy with the stay, comfortable, good service and clean. What more could you need!...

Ok, you do not expect something special when you book a room at a "3" star hotel near the central railway station in any city. But we are in Milano, world city of fashion and fairs, so what's the big deal? Customers will come anyway...so why bother to take care of the strong sewage odor in the room? Anyway it's...

We just needed a place to stay for one night in Milan while making our way by train across Italy. We wanted something in a convenient to the train station that would also give us a chance to explore the city for at least a few hours. Based on the photos and neighbourhood, we weren't expecting much from this hotel;...

The third bed (bunk) not very comfortable. Very cental located. Foodstore accross the street (excellent). Friendly staff. There is a lift and breafast...

We decided to stay here because the hotel is in close proximity to the train station - the price was slightly higher than other hotels in the area but we had read up on the hotel beforehand and preferred to pay a little more for a cleanliness and comfort. Our room was spacious, with TV and AC - we got...

We were a group of 22 people staying at Hotel Bolzano for three nights. The staff was really helpful; recommended restaurants for big groups and helped us find a place for our group meetings at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we did not know what to expect because of the low pricing but were happy with the...

I stayed two nights at this hotel. Budget friendly hotel near the central railway station. I had a room on the ground floor. Small, but effective. Comfy bed, bud the general cleanness in room an bathroom could have been better. There was an option to buy breakfast, but I didn't use that service because it was so easy to find...

The hotel and neighbourhood is a bit outdated. But if you take in account the price you pay, it is good value for money. The location is good. It is a few 100m of the railwaystation, so close to a metro.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
