The Romano Residence is a short walk (~15 mins) from some of the main tourist attractions (Duomo, Scala, the shopping district and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II). It is situated in a quiet area within 2 mins walk from the nearest underground (Crocetta on the yellow line). The price was reasonable, room was well maintained (ours a suite with kitchen/sitting room,...

Good hotel and close to metro which gives easy access to the city. Small lift which is fine except when you have a pram, and the doors would close on you (ouch!). Fantastic breakfast. Service from hotel staff not the best but they did there job. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Overall great value for your money.

Looked on trip advisor and reasonably impressed with reviews. Stayed for 2 nights during mid April. Booked the hotel as a mystery hotel on lastminute.com and when it was confirmed as Romana Residence - pleased owing to the reviews. Good location - central and easy access to metro / duomo. Room was very large and had own kitchen, fridge inside and...

The hotel is extremely easy and inexpensive to get to from Malpensa, we took the train from the airport to Garibaldi station and took a taxi. We stayed from March 21-23, 2008 and paid 85 euro for a double room. The breakfast is truly the most remarkably I've seen in Europe. Hot eggs and bacon, breads, sweet rolls, juice and...

I originally booked a double room. When I arrived to the hotel in late evening, the reception upgraded me to a suite. What a pleasure surprise! The suite was nicely decorated and well equipped with a little pantry and a jacuzzi bathtub. The king-sized bed was cosy. Too bad that I had a train to catch early next morning. Otherwise,...

A party of 13 ladies throrughly enjoyed our stay at the begiing of December 2007. The hotel was very clean with nice bright rooms. Excellent bathroom facilities and the fact that there was a large number of us travelling and staying together was no trouble at all for the hotel. The hotel is very close to public metro links and...

We stayed for three nights in the beginning of December, room in the fourth floor, comfortable and large enough for two people. The hotel itself has an elegant style that you discover only from the inside, as the façade is modern. Incredibly good breakfast, I didn´t find those same products in the supermarkets in town. I hope to find such...

I booked the Romana Residence on the basis of the previous reviews and the price. We were not dissapointed, we had a great time. The Hotel is excellent value for money. It has a nice...
