Stayed in Dec 2010 ( would not let me enter this so shows as Feb 11 ) for 3 nights at just over 100e. Positives - reception open 24 hours and I arrived at 1.30 am after a 7 hour delay from Lisbon to a warm welcome. Always hot water in bathroom. Close to central station and metro. Friendly staff....

It is the worth hotel I ever saw. Everything is dirty, tv not working, no manager, bugs in the shower room. It's price need to be 7 euros per night for one person, not 25 euros.

The hotel is changing management and supposedly undergoing renovation. At the time it's still in very poor conditions: cracks in the walls, paint flaking away, no air conditioner, bathroom joints completely black...etc.... It's supposed to be a 3-star so I imagine that this situation is really temporary. For the moment just ask if renovations are done, otherwise don't stay there.

We were willing to overlook the cockroaches and disgusting conditions of this hotel, until they took payment from us when we arrived and then removed the money from our account for a second time without our permission. We have spent three months trying to get it back, with no luck! They have assured us several times it has been done...

This hotel was terrible, the rooms were shabby, and I know it was cheap to stay but you couldn't pay people to stay here. Fire hazard- no fire escapes, cracks in all the walls. Disgusting shared bathrooms that gave me veruccas. The receptionist was lovely and despite the abuse from unhappy travellers she did her best to please. The lift...

Extremely dirty, unfriendly service, toilet too far away and no privacy in the toilet, not to be recommended. 0n top of that the passages towards the rooms are so narrow that its not possible to walk thro' especially when one has a big lugggage bag. And the toilets with its glass door and without any locks that anyone can just...

First of all, I visit Milan every year for bussiness purposes due to the exhibitions that take place there. I usually have a couple of hotels that stay, but at that period were all full, and the only one available was Margherita, so I had to stay there. In the reception was an old lady who could barely hear and...

After reading reviews on here I was pretty dubious about booking this hotel, but at the end of the day I was after something as cheap as possible and as near to the City centre as possible.....hence the Margherita. As suggested the hotel is located within a couple of streets of the main rail station (Centrale F.S.) approx. 5 minute...

Our view was this hotel was so bad it couldn't possibly be a legitimate hotel business and it must be a front for something else. We had an opportunity to check the hotel before we were going to stay there, and thank god we did! The hotel receptionist had no record of our booking and payment, and the rooms were...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.

“Not sure how you do this if you book online, and if you ask to be moved when you get there then they are all in the same condition I`m sure. Otherwise to get a good room move to the hotel down the street !”
