I been for three nights, good position, good price. Corso Buenos Aires and underground are both close to the hotel (four minutes of walk). The bus stop is Lima (red line). The double room was cleaned. Good thing (but better to advise customers) that the towels are changed in alternate days. A simple but continental breakfast is served in a...

I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel for a night. While I spent only little time in the hotel and most of it in the city, I enjoyed the very close location of the room to Corso Buenos Aires which is the main shopping area of the town. The room I stayed was located remotely (two minutes by...

The location is good, 10-15 min walking distance from the central station. During night the noise coming from inside the hotel didn't make me sleep, neither few hours. Beds are small, and blankets and pillow were dirty. Definitely to avoid, no matter how good the rates are.

We needed a hotel in the area of the main rail station. This hotel is about 10-15 min easy walk from the rail sta. the room was what we wanted clean, our own bathroom and a good price in an expensive city during the Expo in Milan. I would return to this hotel again for its location and the fact...

This hotel has a good location with it being a 5 minute walk to a metro and 10 minute walk to the train station. The WIFI is strong and the rooms and simple and clean. Great place to base yourself for a couple of nights in Milan. Only little niggle is that the receptionist does not speak very good English...

The room was ok and clean (which is normal for the price paid for a double room - 90 euros per night), but after you paid alomost 200 euros for 2 nights, the hotel requests 5 euros for luggage deposit, which is in my opinion an unfair practice and uncommercial gesture. This leaves the feeling that this hotel is just...

Milan is one of the few cities in Italy that we visited that has an efficient subway system. And this hotel is one block away form a subway station. It is cute and in a silent street and very close form the train station, you can easily walk. The checkin was kind of confusing we payed for a suite and...

The room had everything we need: double bed, and a bathroom. The woman at the reception was nice. The hotel is on walking distance from central station, but the city center is a bit far and there is not much to see in the area of the hotel. I wouldnt go there again, although there wasnt anything wrong with the...

The rooms are small and look a bit institutional (just painting the door something other than grey would help). It was also a bit noisy on the night we stayed but I wouldn't blame the hotel for that. However, it was clean, it's in a good location near the station but not on the main street, and while it wasn't...

We arrived early in Milan by train and walked with suitcases from the station. We arrived at 11am and the manager informed us that check-in time was 2pm. Since there was no offer to mind our cases in a baggage room or elsewhere we said we would wait out in the garden. We were discussing the situation when the manager...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
